• Tarapoto - Abdón Calderón Park is located in the center of Cuenca. It is a place full of cultural traditions of rural regions, here we find a monument to Abdón Calderón, hero of Independence in the Battle of Pichincha, which was inaugurated on May 24, 1931. In front of it we find the beautiful Cathedral of the city.

Cuenca, the third most significant city in the country, is a place where culture and art abound! It is also regarded as one of the most enchanting cities in Ecuador, featuring cobblestone streets, ancient cathedrals, colonial parks, and iconic rivers.

The tour will commence at Plaza de San Sebastián, followed by a visit to the Modern Art Museum, the historic center, San Francisco Market, Plaza de las Flores, the Culture House, Abdón Calderón Park, and the Old Cathedral (we will not enter). We will enter the New Cuenca Cathedral.

Our fascinating tour will continue to a Toquilla Straw Hat factory, after which we will proceed to the Barranco with its colonial houses situated next to the Tomebamba River, and we will also see the broken bridge.

To conclude our tour, we will visit the Turi viewpoint, offering a breathtaking view of Cuenca. We will then return to the hotel.
