Great birding tour - Jenson was an excellent guide spotting many birds and a few mammals during our private tour. He did an amazing job of locating hidden birds with his spotting scope so so could see them.

Fabulous and probably the best ever! - Jeison was really helpful in making the arrangements for the tour and answering all of my questions in advance, so I had no worries. The actual tour was with his associate Yostin who was the best guide I had in CR and one of the beat birding guides ever! He was not only patient and persistent in trying to find some many birds in Carara Park and had the most observent eyes AND ears! He also had such a knack for making bird calls and whistles too. It was extraordinary!!! He went over and above far greater than 💯 percent to ensure our experience was the best it could be. Ready and quick with the scope and gracious in taking the time to take photos and videos from his scope! A huge list of birds. Just finished the tour today so can't yet share my full list that is still in the waiting. If you book with Yostin, you won't be disappointed. We'll worth it!

Excellent private birding tour! - We had a fantastic private birding tour with Jeison at Carara National Park. Our group of 5 ranged in age from 14 to 78 and the tour was excellent for all of us. We saw over 20 different species of birds, as well as other wildlife. Jeison was an expert at finding the animals and sharing information about them. I would recommend Jeison to anyone!

Beautiful birdwatching trip - Our guide Yostin was great! Very much knowledge about birds, nice information about nature and very enthusiastic! Also very friendly and good English. A real bird nerd 😉 We saw a lot of animals and enjoyed it very much. We would definitely recommend Yostin as a guide!

Birding watching in Carara Natl Park with Jeison Hernandez - Jeison is a bird and local flora fauna knowledgeable tour guide who goes the extra mile. The dawn tour gave is an indepth understanding of the ecosystem along with numerous sightings with the back story and context. It was worth the time and money to have such an experience. We are a family quite knowledgeable about birds and found Jeison very thoughtful and thorough as we walked through the park. We highly recommend the tour

Great bird tour! - Jeison is an expert bird guide and did a great job for our group. We had four people with different skills and interests for birdwatching, but Jeison was excellent. We were able to see several large colorful birds but also a good list of regional endemics.

Great bird watching experience - Jieson, our guide, is very knowledgeable and experienced in finding and identifying the more difficult birds. Our birding group plans to use his services on future trips to Carara.

Fantastic experience with talented guide! - Review of birdwatching Jeison Hernandez Costa Rica Oct 27th 2024. Did bird watching with Jeison on October 27th 2024 in Puntarenas Costa Rica, Caldera terminal cruise. Jason came to meet me at 8:00AM at the gate of the terminal. It was a pleasant encounter, Jeison is a fine young man, very open and knowledgeable. We drove 45 minutes to Carara national Park and entered the main trail in the park. The atmosphere of the Rain Tropical forest was very special. It only took few minutes and Jeison was already spotting birds and making it visible for me in his scope (telescope). He really has a special talent and could see things I couldn’t with my bear eyes. We were almost 3 hours in the park and Jeison was just an expert at seeing birds and wild live. We saw a large amount of birds, monkeys and a huge Tiger Rat snake. So Jeison is passionate and professional and the perfect guide if you want to have a great day in the nature. I saw all the birds I wanted to see included ding the Toucan and the Hummingbirds. But I felt I love with the Trogons. The arrangement of this tour was done through WhatsApp months ahead and Jeison has been responding all along. So thank you and I had a great experience, I have learned a lot from Jeison!

A full day of birding - I had pre-arranged meeting Jeison at Carara NP for a full day of birding in the area. When I arrived he was waiting for me and was prepared to get started right away. I had provided him the names of target birds and he did a great job finding them. We spent several hours birding in the park, covering many trails. For the afternoon we birded some areas outside the park, adding several species to my Costa Rica life list. Jeison is an experienced guide with a good ear and vast knowledge of the local avian fauna. He is also a very pleasant person to spend a day with.
