• Tarcoles - Passenger pick-up begins at 5 am from hotels in San Jose and nearby areas.

• We will stop for breakfast en route and have a chance to take photos from a viewpoint at the mouth of the Tarcoles River, where you might spot the famous crocodile.

On the way to Manuel Antonio National Park, you’ll travel along the coastline, enjoying scenic views, including African palm plantations. You’ll also pass through small villages along the Pacific Coast until you reach the port of Quepos and finally the National Park.

• Manuel Antonio - Explore Manuel Antonio National Park with a naturalist tour guide. The tour lasts approximately 4 hours, during which you can visit the park and enjoy the beach.

Since vehicle access to the park is restricted, you’ll hike to the preserve, crossing a creek. Once inside, you can relax and enjoy the beach, sunbathe, or hike the park’s trails to observe the abundant flora and fauna. You might see several species of monkeys, iguanas, birds, and possibly even a three-toed sloth. If you choose to hike the trail to Cathedral Point, don’t forget your camera; the views of the park and the sea are breathtaking!
