Last minute decision is the best decision - We were visiting Malaga Spain for the weekend and had been contemplating a visit to Morocco. Multiple times from Friday to Sunday we came across the Tangier private tour but always hesitated first because of the cost and then questioning safety. From the moment we confirmed our reservation, Karim arranged every detail. He started with a phone call to understand our interests and followed it by multiple messages laying out our itinerary. From the 5:45am pickup at our airbnb to our 11:00pm drop off back home, every detail was taken car of. Car travel, ferry tickets and pickup, breakfast and dinner, camel ride, everything! Karim, our tour guide and Mohammed, our driver were consummate hosts! From the moment we got in the van, Karim began sharing the history of the city and the culture. First stop, a lovely traditional Moroccan breakfast at a local hotel overlooking the ocean. The bees enjoyed it as much as we did! Then onto a tour of the new city, seeing mosques, architecture, hearing about the culture. Stops were well paced to capture photos and moments. The camel ride along the sea was an experience not to be missed. In the afternoon we left the car for a walking tour of the casbah and old city. This is where Karim shined. It’s as if the city was his own and everyone knew him. Handshakes, hugs and smiles greeted him at every corner. More architecture, more history, more culture! The craftsmanship of the city is stunning. He took us to the textile markets and a word of advice, “bring your bartering skills”. The rugs are stunning. The earthenware beautiful and the home decor are one of a kind gems. After we lightened our wallets and were loaded with laughs, we sat down to a delightful late afternoon meal. In the course of hours Karim transitioned from tour guide to friend. He left us safely back at the ferry, our legs weary, our hearts and bellies full; not regretting the last minute decision as it was the best decision and a wonderful adventure! Thank you Karim… James and Jônatas

Life-changing experience - When our friends said they wanted to book a day trip/tour to Morocco, I was immediately in...little did I know, it would be the most life-changing experience. Our tour guide Karim, was so knowledgeable, funny and caring. He truly made the experience that much better. Our trip was cut short by a few hours, due to circumstances out of his control, and he still managed to get us to all of the places we wanted to see. The entire tour, Karim was cracking jokes with us and made us feel so comfortable. Our group had the most amazing time. I can't thank Karim enough for everything he did. The time and attention he put into making sure we had a good tour is like no other. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Morocco, even if just for the day, make sure you book a tour with him. I can promise, you will not be disappointed.

A Great Day in Tangier! - This was a logistical challenge made easy by Karim. We needed to be picked up in Malaga to catch a 9:00am ferry. That required a driver and ferry tickets. We were met at the Tanger terminal by Karim and a driver. The heavens opened up about an hour after we arrived and the schedule had to be adjusted. The sun returned and all was great. Karim was informative, personable and engaging. He had quizzed in advance on preferences and priorities and he delivered on all our wish list items. Late afternoon back to the ferry and the waiting driver to take us back to Malaga. An outstanding day! Kudos to Karim! .

Very Nice Tour - We had a wonderful time visiting Tangier! Our guide reached out to us well before the trip. He asked about our interests and set up everything including transportation to/from Malaga. The drivers were very kind and prompt. Once arrived in Tangier our guide met us at the ferry with his driver. He provided us with the history of the area, Moroccan breakfast and lunch, walking tour of the Kasbah and markets, not to mention the camel ride on beach. We had a wonderful day. Thanks Karim!!

Best private tour from Spain to Morocco, magical experience, worth every penny!! - The Tangier private tour was absolutely one of the best tours I have ever done. From the moment I booked this, Karim, the owner of Tangier Patito Tours, emailed and texted me to confirm my tour, find out more about my family, ask what we wanted to do and see in Tangier. Everything was done a la carte! We were picked up from our hotel in Malaga, and once we got to Tarifa, we boarded the ship to Morocco. Karim booked the ferry tickets for us from Tarifa Port, told us what to do, step by step. The tour guide, Majid met us at Tangier’s port with his driver and took us for breakfast, ride with camels on the beach, then lunch at an amazing restaurant in Old Medina where the food was just delicious!! Then we were off to explore Old Medina by foot, while Majid was giving us all the history behind Old Medina. He was also one of the funniest, engaging, knowledgeable tour guides we’ve ever had!! Majid took our 6 year old and entertained him the entire 10 hours we were together - how many 6 year olds want to do walking tours? But Majid made it so fun!! Thank you! We actually saw Karim along the way and thanked him. Moroccons are such friendly people. After Old Medina, we went to do some shopping - you can choose between textiles, spices & oils, ceramics so they can take you to the places you really want to see. We had to board the ship back to Spain at 6pm. If we could’ve stayed a few more days, we would’ve but if you want to see Tangier in one day from Spain, THIS TOUR with Patito Tours is the one to do!! It may seem pricey but it is SO WORTH IT!! Karim, Majid, our driver, we cannot thank you enough for such a magical and memorable experience and we will definitely return one day. THANKS A MILLION!! :)

An Amazing Tour of Tangier - We had the best experience on our tour with Karim, truly a day I will cherish for the rest of my life. We saw so many different aspects of the city and being guided by a local who grew up there made it so special. The food, the shopping and the sites were amazing. Your whole day is thought out so you don’t have to worry about anything (waters on the bus, meals throughout the day, restroom breaks). And definitely pay for the camel ride, such a cool experience!!

Nice private tour - This is my third time to Morocco. I wanted to provide my husband with a memorable trip to Morocco from Malaga. I had many texts from Karim who is the owner of the company to assure me that the trip would go smoothly. I decided on a later pickup and earlier departure so this meant some of the trip was whittled down due to time constraints. We were picked up at our hotel and by private driver; this took 2 hours to arrive in Tarifa. The driver picked up forms for us to show the passport people and the border control. When you reach Tarifa , my suggestion is that you use the 1 hour to fill out the form and go through passport control and putting your luggage through several X-ray machines before you reach the ferry Once you get to the ferry , line up to get your passport checked and stamped again. This process make take up to the hour it takes for you to arrive in Tangier. Be sure your passport is stamped because you will not be let into the country. Once you gone through yet again X-ray machine to X-ray your luggage or purses or backpacks. The guide which in our case was Farish( sp?) He took us to our driver.I decided to change our itinerary by having lunch first. Since it was 1/2 hour earlier than he expected, he was able to find a restaurant that was open at 11:30am. We had lunch which was included in the tour. Lunch was cafeteria style and food was good. From there the guide said I had 1/2 hour to shop in the sook. Our next stop was a tour of the city( not on my agenda). The guide decided I needed to see the city and the king's royal houses With my talk with Katim I was supposed to be in the Medina for 3 hours. I had to talk with the guide several times to change course. Eventually we returned to the casbah to see the houses where the people lived, the shops. This was beautiful for me. We had to return to the ferry by 3:15 pm as we had tickets to go back on the ferry. Remember you still have to go through X-ray machine for your purses, backpack, etc. The trip took 1 hour and the ride home 2 1/2 hours due to traffic. Overall the tour went well once I spoke with the guide and Karim( by WhatsApp.) The drivers from Malaga and Tarifa and the return were good and the one in Tangier. Consider the tour if you want a private tour. Be sure you get the kind of tour you want.
