- Port of Tarifa - Meet your FRS guide at the Port of Tarifa to board the ferry. You’ll travel on a fast ferry to Tangier Ville, with the crossing taking about an hour. Upon arrival in Tangier, you’ll disembark at the Port of Tangier Ville, where a local guide will join you and the FRS guide to begin the tour.
- Tangier - Enjoy a panoramic bus tour of the modern city of Tangier, showcasing the entire modern city.
- Medina of Tangier - Take a walking tour through the Kasbah, medina, and souk, passing through the Mendoubia Gardens with our local guide. You’ll also visit the necropolis and explore one of the oldest areas of Tangier on foot. On Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays, the Mendoubia Gardens are closed, so the Dar Dbagh Museum will be visited instead.
- Medina of Tangier - Savor lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant, where you can enjoy the country’s cuisine with live music. The meal includes Harira soup, couscous, a beef kebab, tea, and a Moroccan sweet. Drinks are not included.
- Tangier - Enjoy free time in the souk and medina. Stroll around at your leisure and shop at your own pace.
- Port de Tanger Ville - After your free time for shopping and exploring Tangier’s old town, return to the bus with both guides (local and FRS guide) to head back to the Port of Tangier Ville. You’ll take the fast ferry back to Tarifa, with the crossing taking the same duration as in the morning. After an hour and a half, you’ll arrive at the Port of Tarifa, disembark, and conclude the excursion.

The Original Excursion. Discover in one day, the most emblematic places of Tangier. We offer you a trip with departure by fast ferry from Tarifa, with transfers and lunch.
Get to know this wonderful Moroccan city, accompanied by an FRS assistant and a Moroccan guide. You will make a panoramic visit of the modern city of Tangier and then dive into the most historical part such as the Kasbah, the Medina and the Souk, passing through the Mendoubia garden, and a stop at the Roman Necropolis.
You will enjoy some free time for shopping and wandering around the streets of the Zoco and the Media.
Lunch in a typical Moroccan restaurant, where you will taste this fascinating gastronomy, such as Harira soup, beef kebabs, couscous and a tea accompanied by a Moorish pastry. All this accompanied by live music (drinks not included).
Finally, we will take you to the Port of Tangier Ville to board the ferry back to Tarifa.

A city well worth a visit - Really interesting fun day out in Tangier. We had a coach trip to some sites around the city, Aziz was a great tour guide. We then walked through the markets in the Medina and had lunch. Each course was great but the chebakia was outstanding. It's an almond and cinnamon cookie dipped in honey. Delish!
We then had a good hour or so practice our haggling skills. Jem one, teapot seller nil! Well maybe!!!

Excursion Cultural Tangier 1 day - A very complete excursion.
The Guides, both EstefanÃa who accompanied us from fare, and Ali, the local guide very good and attentive.

Perfect for a day on to Africa - This is a fantastic tour for families with teenagers! The whole pro ess was stress free thanks to Viator and FRS. Only tip, once you redeem your tickets, ferry parking was full so parked in Tarifa 10 mins walk away so leave time.
The tour was informative and engaging, with a knowledgeable guide (and friendly team) who brought Tangier's history and culture to life. We loved exploring the Kasbah and the Medina, and the included lunch was a delicious way to experience traditional Moroccan cuisine. My highlight was the spice museum - my teenage son loved his shoulder massage, seriously!
The ferry ride was also a highlight, offering stunning views of the Strait of Gibraltar even on a cloudy day. Our teenage kids especially enjoyed the free time to explore the city and shop for souvenirs. Sellers were persistent but respectful. We highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Spain who fancies popping over to Africa.

Great excursion to admire Tangier - Great excursion to get an idea of the city of Tangier! From the port you get on by coach with city tour and Guide explanations! Great Moroccan lunch in a nice restaurant! In the afternoon walk through the alleys of Medina with free time to shop! The only flaw, despite having selected the Guide in Italian ours spoke in Spanish and translating into English .. however very nice and kind!

A taste of Morocco - Well organized and very interesting trip, excellent guide who also spoke Italian (Mrs. Sonia). We enjoyed the bus ride, which allowed us to get a general idea of the city. Interesting walking tour to the old town and the souk. The lunch instead was disappointing, although unpretentious given the overall cost, perhaps you could choose a better restaurant. Overall a nice outing. Recommended.

Disappointing - You guide them so much Asis and fani great! The excursion very bad, we did not see anything of cultural inertia, which other years did. Just walk the streets in a brisk and very agonizing pace with street vendors who keep agonizing and take photos of children without consent. I do not recommend it at all previously this same excursion was more complete.
