Tarifa, ferry, tangier - Frs team took care of us very well. Usual chaotic nature of middle east/north africa tour... but we had fantastic tour operators, everything was on time

A Day of Adventure - It was an amazing experience. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. The food and ambiance was amazing at the Moroccan restaurant. And then, the camel ride was so much fun and the highlight of the day that I would do it again!!🤩

Highly Recommend - With Friendly Caution - Highly recommend this. Caution: Go with an open mind, patience, sense of adventure, willingness to go with the flow, and without high expectations of a perfect excursion. Delays, waiting, less-than-ideal tour guide instructions (like not mentioning to us to clear Moroccan immigration while on the ferry), pushy sales people on every street, fast-talking tour guide speaking in a lot of different languages consecutively, and being part of a herd await you. All part of the experience. But, nevertheless, a very memorable experience. If you are able to chill and just take things as they come, you should go home with some nice memories.

Great day trip - The excursion was very well organized and the tour guide very competent. A good insight into Arab culture has been gained. Would make the trip again.

Tourist trap - It felt like a traditional tourist trap tour. Our lunch was very good but our table got served last and we were not even done and our guide was hurrying us along to leave. Once we were back to the port, it took us an hour and 40 minutes before the ferry left to head back to Tarifa.

Old city of Tangier - It was a 4-hour tour of Tangier with a 20 minutes bus tour around the city. We spent all of our time at the Medina which was a bit of a rush. The walkabout with the guide was hectic with almost no time to take pictures. After that we were given about 90 minutes to explore the Medina on ourown for lunch and shopping even though the program says it would be for 3 hours. All in all the Medina was a great experience to see the old city with it's intricate network of narrow streets and living quarters.

Rushed Impression with more than necessary time wasted at border controls, both in and out. - Chaotic both in boarding and unboarding. From tour bus only apartment buildings and an occasional synagogue , church or mosque seen. Jealous looked at city tours / hop-off hop-on that definitely gave a better picture of the city. Visiting the medina was a tupperware-like sales trick for which you also had to be able to run fast to keep up with the Guide.

Far more interested in selling you than showing you Tangier culture - Imagine a teleoperator calling you to "improve your electricity bill" or similar. Now imagine you have him by your side and you can't hang him. That is the experience you will live in the Medina. You’ll try to keep going so you don’t lose the rest of the group, while you’re surrounded by lots of sellers trying to get you to buy things you don’t need at a higher price than they have. When you kindly tell them you don't want it, they'll insist, once, twice, ten times, twenty times... and it's not an exaggeration. They'll chase you down and block your way. If you think the Guide will save you, you're wrong. He's the one who got you there to try to pluck you. Maybe it's how Moroccan culture works, and we're the ones who got it wrong. In that case, we were not prepared for such a big culture clash. We won’t complain about the lucky Guide, because if it had been different, the experience would have been exactly the same.
