Our journey to Taroudant and the oasis of Tiout begins with an early pick-up at 8:30 AM from the reception of your hotel or residence. We will first drive to Taroudant, often referred to as ‘mini Marrakech’ due to its resemblance to Marrakech with its surrounding ramparts. Back in the 1960s, the Saadi dynasty chose Taroudant as their capital before relocating to Marrakech. Today, unlike Marrakech, the city is almost entirely enclosed within its ramparted walls. Taroudant is now renowned for its local crafts and carpets, giving it a similar ambiance to Marrakech. After our visit to Taroudant, we will return to the hotel around 2 PM.
