We’ll assemble at the reception of Camping Ampolla Playa de L’Ampolla at a predetermined time to inaugurate our walk around tour to acquaint ourselves with the wildlife within the boundaries of Delta del Ebro Natural Park. Guided along the Les Olles lagoon, the smallest in the park but a haven for many waterfowl, we will identify the diverse bird species that call this specific ecosystem home. In order to do so, we will approach various vantages around the lagoon where we can see mallards, egrets, kingfishers, stilts and regal flamingos. By taking time to engage with the region’s flora, and the encompassing rice paddies, we will enrich our understanding of our surroundings. Moreover, this bird spotting adventure, taking us through Les Olles lagoon and Fangar bay, is within the heart of the Ebro Delta Natural Park, and extends along the entire coast. From L’Ampolla all the way to the fishing hub of Illa de Mar.
