Lanzarote summer holiday - another great holiday in Matagorda, our third in as many years. this time we chose the livvo las gaviotas apts and were very pleased with the overall experience. we stayed in one of the self contained bungalow type apartments block 3 with 2 pools and the snack bar close by it suited us very well. the staff were very nice with regular visits to clean and change towels etc. Have to mention the young girl in the snack bar who was very nice and so polite she was a credit to the staff. Overall a nice base to explore the resort of Matagorda and playa Honda both a short stroll away. We were also able to explore some of the the island due to our daughter and and her fiancé hiring a car. all in all a very nice holiday, and even more special as I spent my birthday while we were there

Best experience - must do! - Really good experience. Very friendly staff on board who made the trip as enjoyable as it was. The views are stunning and the stop off at Papagayo is the main attraction where we enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the sea. Lunch was quality, we had paella and the children has pasta. However the food we got after boarding was horrendous, some cold potato and egg. I'd say it's a Spanish dish but nobody ate it so that was disappointing but lunch made up for it. Sail back was very choppy and people were getting sick so they slowed down which made the journey back even longer but it was fine .

A perfect way to spend a day of ur holiday - It was an amazing day out staff are really nice amazing food and the hole experience was a really good vibe. The place we stopped was jaw dropping crystal clear waters and would 100% recommend bringing some sort of goggles to see the fish.

Great all round experience - What a great experience. With the open bar & ability to jump into the sea was amazing to watch. When it said a 4 hour experience it meant 4 hours! Food wasn’t great. But it didn’t matter. Keep applying sun cream! I got burnt 🤣. There was a lot of space too to chill and watch the world go by. We would absolutely do it again!

Enjoyable trip - Was picked up from allocated bus stop near our hotel , bus staff and All the crew really friendly, took us down the coast and stopped just outside papagayo, swam with the fish and had use of snorkels, paddle boards and kayaks. Stayed there had lunch and then headed back. The water was a bit more choppy than I would have liked as i find it difficult to snorkel, I thought we would go to more quieter waters, but good afternoon overall. Only reason give it a 4star is I thought it was a little expensive to previous trips I have done.

Communication was erratic and poor - I booked this trip in November 2023 as a Christmas present for my friend. I received confirmation saying they would be picking us up that week! i contacted them to say i am not coming until July 2024 and they acknowledge this. A week before we were due to sail i have an email saying our Sunday booking could not go ahead and they would change us to Saturday. Further on in the email it stated they sailed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We arrived on a Friday so did not want to go on the Saturday so i asked to change to the Tuesday 16th, i received confirmation of Thursday the 16th. Again queried this and eventually had an email saying Tuesday the 16th. They could not change the date from the Saturday on the app. Saturday came and went and my booking on the app disappeared into past bookings and my wallet with the QR codes disappeared. This left me sceptical of the trip. Two days before we were due to sail i received a phone call telling me that a taxi would pick us up at 10.15 and not to go to get the bus. 5 mins later i received another call to say pick up time was 9.15! we went outside the hotel to get the taxi the driver had my name, we got in and the driver asked us where to go! i explained the taxi has been booked by the lineas company so we are on the boat trip. He drove us to the harbour. We went to get out the taxi when the driver shouted at us 'you pay! 'you pay!" i tried to explain i had not ordered the taxi and that the lineas company had. and we had no money of us. Such a worry! He was very aggressive and asked for my phone to take pictures of the telephone number, when i would not hand over my phone he started shouting ' i don't want to steal your phone, i don't need it etc etc, aggressive and rude. Luckily my friend had data to call and we had to call the lineas company to get them to speak to him. they did this and he just drove off. We then had to ask them where do we go as we were just dropped off. the lady on the phone told us where to get the boat down the end of the pier. there were other ques of people waiting for various trips, so we were asking everyone as we went along. We asked around the harbour where the Lineas boat went from and was pointed in the direction down a pontoon. They did say it doesn't go until around 10.30, so maybe go for a coffee back up by the harbour, looking at the original booking sailing was at 11.00. We decided to hang around and good job as the boat sailed at 10.00. i asked staff on board how do we get back to the hotel and they said get a taxi and pay yourself. eventually i found a lady who spoke good English and she said just get on the bus back. So stressful we were feeling really uneasy as the communication was so poor. given we were two 60+ year olds travelling on this trip, it did phase us. The food and boat trip itself was good, however, you are not allowed to go on the beach and i thought this was a bit misleading in the title of the trip. I did email Lineas when i arrived back through the app but never had a reply. Thus i felt i needed to write this review on trip advisor.

Dear for what it is! - Very expensive for what it is. It only has a catamaran in name because the sail was not even hoisted, even though it was windy. It's really disappointing. For my part, I do not advise him.

Run away! Pass your way, you will save time .... - After having toured all the hotels in the area (count 1h) the bus will take you to Puerto del Carmen finally take this catamaran, you will be a hundred on board. Choose a good seat because after you can no longer move being give the numbers of people on board. Tasteless meal (paella or shellfish in tomato sauce) 3 drink choices. It will stop about 1h30 for the bravest who want to go to sea kayaking with the strong current or “swimming” in the open sea. And off we go for the return. And count 1 hour on the bus to drop off at all hotels This is how to get plucked from 74€ .... Snake catches
