A wonderful trip in an enchanting country! - On our individual journey along the Great Silk Road, the team around Davlat accompanied us with great joy and information about the history and culture of the country. Even the preparation for the trip aroused excitement and anticipation. Davlat was very helpful with his knowledge and experience in putting together the trip with friendliness, commitment and competence. All of the points of the trip that were discussed and agreed upon were implemented precisely and with the personal commitment of the staff. We were received punctually and reliably at all stations and were able to enjoy our trip to the full. Whether transfer, hotels, flight and train tickets - everything worked out perfectly. We are happy to recommend Afrosiob Travel and would like to say a big thank you to Davlat and his team! Andreas and Birgit

10 Days in Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara, but also in more remote parts on the trail of Alexander: Darband & Termez - I had a brilliant trip to Uzbekistan organised by Davlat. For context, I am British, 46, a husband and father, well travelled but this was my first non-work / non-family adventure outside Europe for years, and I have never been to Central Asia. I met four friends and we visited Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara together. Then I had five days to spare and wanted to see some of the more remote parts of Uzbekistan, i.e. the Sogdian mountains and a few sites of Alexander the Great. Davlat organised a brilliant trip with a driver and where relevant local guides. I was a bit worried about safety because Termez is on the border with Afghanistan and I was alone, but I could not have felt more safe. My driver (Aziz) was jolly (and safety focused), and guides informative. Russian (unless you speak Uzbek or Tajik/Farsi) was the most common language so the google translate app helped. Accommodation was a mixture of hotels and home stays. All were comfortable and amazing hosts. Saw the usual sites in Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara. But also some some cool more off the beaten track sites where I was often the only visitor. Near Darband the Iron Gates and Darband Canyon and Kurangzol fortress and a hike into the foothills of the Gissar range (far west of the Pamirs): local guide Shaha was excellent). Near Termez, saw Kampyr Tepe (Alexander's city on the Oxus river) and the Archaeological Museum (latter, despite what you might think, is excellent). Davlat and his local guides / driver were happy to flex the itinerary as we went (Kurangzol was a last minute decision). He was super helpful, responsive and did his best to make sure I got the most out of my trip. He also did a quality referral to an agency in Tajikistan where I wanted to spend a few more days. I'd highly recommend him.

Fantastic tour with a reliable tour operator - The experience was fantastic. I got all the information as requested. Davlat offered me what was suitable for the time available and in my interests. He organised flight and train tickets for a very reasonable & fair price and it was a friendly and reliable contact at all times. I visited Tashkent, Chimgan, Buchara and Samarkand and have seen all the historical sides. My guides and Drivers were very friendly and professional. They simply took care about everything and tried the best to make the trip enjoyable. Many thanks as that was a wonderful tour with safe drives in an airconditioned car. This trip was perfect and fulfilled all my expectations. Thank you and looking forward to another trip in Tadjikistan in the future.

Very well managed tours - Excellent. Well organized tour. My friends & I planned a sudden 4 day vacation to Tashkent and Samarkand. The last minute trip would entail a trip to Samarkand from Taskent. We also wanted to travel to Samarkand on the Afrosiab train, tickets for which were difficult to book online. We contacted Mr. Davlat, GM of Afrosiab Travels, who organized our 1 night 1 day trip to Samarkand. He also subsequently organized a day tour at Tashkent as well. Both were very good and we could see several important sites due to the well planned tour some of which we would have missed but for the tour! We are happy with the overall management of the tours. All of these were done over email and WhatsApp, which was very impressive. The clarity of communication and attention to detail was good. 5 stars for above. Cons The hotel assigned for our overnight stay at Samarkand, although beautifully located, could have been better. Our tour guide in Tashkent was an hour late. I strongly recommend contacting Mr. Davlat Fayziev of Afrosiab Travels on [email protected] to plan your trip. Cheers.
