An excellent week in Uzbekistan - I would highly recommend this tour. I was visiting from the UK. I was solo for this part of the trip. I think Uzbekistan would have been quite hard to navigate as a foreigner who cannot speak russian or Uzbek. Everything was organised for me which made the trip very easy. Having English speaking local guides, and drivers with comfortable air conditioned cars was really beneficial. I felt like I saw the best attractions and got a real taste of Uzbekistan. There was enough free time to explore on my own in the evenings. Amir was able to provide incredible support when I needed him over WhatsApp. All the hotels were clean and comfortable. The individual guides in each location were really kind and knowledgeable. Local people I met were also really warm and welcoming. One day I hope to return to Uzbekistan with friends and family, and if I do I will be using this company again.

A fairy-tale 6 days journey through the Silk Road - This turned out to be incredibly brilliant holiday for us, experiencing the charms, warmth, culture and history of Uzbekistan and its gems Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand and Tashkent. Khiva and Bukhara are very beautiful small fortified cities with an old world charm reminding of the days when caravans converged on them on the Silk Route. Samarkand is slightly larger and spread out, but its monument no less beautiful (don't miss the Registan light and sound show in the evenings). Tashkent also has its spots, but in essence is a large city. I found the trip through Viator and soon discovered the company Sogada Tours behind. My go-to-person was Amir and he was superb with all the information before the booking, and prepared a detailed itinerary plan which left no questions to ask. He was constantly available for any queries or any requests from our end. He organized the hotels which were pretty decent, the tour guides, the train journeys, the drivers and it was all a seamless booking. The tour guides (Ulugbek in Khiva, Ms Maksad in Bukhara, Timur in Samarkand and Ms Kseniya in Tashkent) were very good, friendly and quite knowledgeable about their respective places. They all did a very good job in taking us through the history and marvels on our first visit to Uzbekistan. The drivers were always courteous and punctual. The people of UZ are very friendly, very proud of their heritage and very helpful. Did not see even minute traces of crime or disorder anywhere. The food is exotic and many of the local restaurants that we visited in the evening were full of music, dancing and general merriment All in all a great trip. A great country to visit. A few on the flipside - We got only half a day in Bukhara due to train schedules. It is certainly worth at least an overnight if not more. - A couple of trips (flight from Tashkent to Urgench/Khiva and train from Khiva to Bukhara) made us leave the hotel at 5:00 AM (not that the Tour operator had much flexibility given that it was a 6 day trip). On the positive side, all hotels provide packed breakfast boxes no matter how early you leave - We took an extra day in Tashkent extending the tour, and we did not do know what to do with it. But then discovered Magic City (a resort similar to Disneyland but smaller) which was quite a good way to unwind especially as the sun sets. The water splashing musical fountains were cool. - In Tashkent, the hotel Wyndham Gardens was ca. 20 min taxi ride from city center (but then taxis are dirt cheap in UZ - just download YandexGo)

The Silk Road! 1000 and 1 night experience! ♥️🇺🇿 - We want to start by thanking Amir for the attention he had towards us, taking care of every detail of our trip to Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 We highly recommend purchasing this private tour organized in the best way both for the organizational and logistical aspect, as well as for all the wonders we could see and the magical experiences lived! The tour, as indicated, includes travel within the entire territory, guides, hotels and private drivers! All under the meticulous supervision of Amir! The hotels are really crazy, both for the location and the quality of the rooms! The guides are in Italian, ready to answer any questions about the history of the place as well as insights into local legends! If you are a couple Amir will recommend a cabin in 1 De Luxe class for the Urgench-Bukhara route, which we have taken and recommend to everyone! The bullet train will surprise you with punctuality! About the magic of the place there are no words to describe it! Therefore go and enjoy the Silk Road! 2700 years and don't feel them! Thanks again to Amir 🇺🇿

The best decision I made this year 😉😄 - While we can obtain information through our mobile phones, gaining a deep understanding of Uzbekistan’s culture and people through such interactions is invaluable. The dinner with strangers I met on the train, the delightful jokes shared with guides, the intellectual amusement from discussing world history through their profound knowledge, and the constant kindness from everyone. This tour made me want to visit Uzbekistan again, as a traveler witnessing their changes and growth.

Wonderful trip, a little expensive - The trip is good, whenever we were in airport or railway station, drivers were aready there and picked us up to our hotels. That helped us a lot for the trip. Four english guides were all very good to explain about the trip sites and we learnt a lot about the cultrue and history around the sights.

Amazing value, amazing tour - Can’t say enough about this tour. We had an amazing tour with this company. Once booked Amir reached out to us on WhatsApp to confirm everything and if we needed anything else. Everything is taken care. Tour guides were on time. Transport between locations was taken care of. ZERO ISSUES. While in Samarkand the owner stopped by to check on us to see if everything was going well. Hotels in the cities, except Tashkent, were steps away from the sites. Also the guides went at your pace and never rushed us. I’d recommend this tour to anyone. You won’t find a better value for what you get.

Extraordinary tour experience - The tour was very well organised, and the tour agency (Silk Tour Ltd) was very responsive and accomodated to our request to customize the tour to include a one night spent in a traditional yurt. And the tour agency also suggested that our driver make a few stops along the way to the remnants of the fortress of Alexander the Great and a caravonsaray. Recommended!

Extraordinary Uzbekistan - I took the tour with the guide in Italian. Everything was well organized with professionalism and attention to the customer's needs. I was also able to appreciate the high quality and competence of the various guides in the cities visited. In particular, Delia deserves praise for the tour of Samarkand, Sanam for the Bukhara tour. I highly recommend this tour to those who wish to visit Uzbekistan in a few days with a serious and reliable agency
