Worth the trip - Our guide, Jeremy, was knowledgeable and interacted with the group which made it more person. Although it was cold, windey and raining sideways, (we bought Mac in a Sac rain jackets), it was worth the views. We saw wallabys and wombats in their natural environment which was pretty neat. Very interesting scenery and countryside. It was a nice way to see the working side of Tasmania.

Cradle Mountain - My wife and I had a great time with the mountain views, touring the Cabin, and doing the various hikes that our tour guide recommended. We also enjoyed the local wildlife Wombats.

Exceeded expectations! - Mark was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable in relation to Tasmania history and culture. He asked what we wanted to do and delivered. He was concerned with the mobility of all passengers. On our return trip he took us through the countryside and along the ocean for stunning views. We had excellent conversations regarding 70’s and 80’s American culture. He was very entertaining. We highly recommend this tour as it exceeded all expectations. We loved Mark!!

Great way to spend a day in Burnie - Great tour. Met us where the cruise buses drop you off. Mark is a Tassie Native and had some awesome commentary. Very informative and also super funny. About 1.5 hours drive each way up to Cradle Mountain. A few hours to explore the area - walk part of the overland track, explore a chalet, and walk around Dove lake (can even swim if the weather is nice) plus a stop a cafe on the way to get some lunch. Back with plenty of time to get back on board. Not much to do in Burnie so a great way to spend the day. Also about 1/3 of the cost of the shore excursions the cruise ran with literally the same itinerary.

Shore excursion from Burnie to Cradle Mountain National Park - We saw a lot of beautiful countryside on the way from the cruise port to Cradle Mountain National Park. It was a drizzly day up on the mountain, but there is a nice lodge offering hot food and a fireplace to warm up. The tour went along the coast on the return for a different view. Our guide was a local and shared interesting information about the area.

Cradle Mountain - This was a long drive but worth it! Did not have time to do anything extra. Make sure you bring a jacket and rain gear. We were underdressed and it was cold. It would have been great if they had warned us. Still memorable and great to see.

Overall a great tour and way to spend a day outside of Burnie - This was a full day tour to the Cradle Mountains. Check in was easy and the small group made it more friendly and enjoyable than a cruise ship tour. Guide was very personable and caring. Excellent place to go for the day. And we got to go on some short hikes based on abilities. The only thing I think could be improved on was the guide didn’t always talk to the whole bus but rather just those sitting in the front seats. It made the rest of us feel a little left out. He was a good guide though and knew a little about a lot of things. He could easily hold everyone’s attention when talking to all of us.

Discovering burnie - Didn't take a tour but walked the streets starting at the markets , then went to the museum. Now don't quince when I say museum. It was a building and the whole inside was dome up like burnie in the early days .it was well worth it very interesting and unique. Then down to the water front to see the penguins and eat fish and chips

Cradle mountain shore excursion - Our guide Mark was lovely. The only thing was sold as small group tour but we constantly had to wait for second bus to be organised would have liked more hiking time which would have been possible with one bus. But overall an amazing trip Well worth it!
