Idyllic cruising aboard Ernest Kemp - We had a fantastic time! The staff and crew were very friendly and the commentary of the lake, surrounding areas and the rock carvings was great. The free tea, coffee and biscuits were appreciated as we cruised along. The skipper was very considerate as he made sure to give everyone ample opportunity to take photos of the Maori rock carvings. We had a lovely time soaking it all in from the rear open area at the back of the boat. We would highly recommend a tour aboard this fine old vessel.

Lovely way to see the Maori carvings and learn something about our beautiful country. - We had a great trip. Lovely weather, crystal clear water and the Ernest Kemp is a really funky boat. Skipper was so informative and gave us so many photo ops at the carvings. Great meeting people from across the world.

Great cruise on a cool boat. - Great cruise, well run, informative, and very enjoyable. Coffee, tea, and snacks were included and we're readily available. Alcoholic beverages were available for sale. The cruise encompasses more than just the carvings, abd visits several other areas. I highly recommend this cruise, on this vessel. It's very comfortable, and is far less crowded than than larger boats.

Highly recommended boat tour - Friendly and welcoming staff as we boarded. Tea/coffee and cookies on arrival. Interesting commentary and a lovely scenic tour of the lake. The deck hand was especially entertaining and took his time to go around all the groups. Highly recommend.
