Spectacular carvings and a lovely sailing experience - Chris was lovely and professional tour guide and skipper. We loved the facts and information he gave to us surrounding Taupo while on our sail out. The carvings were spectacular - we would recommend this tour to anyone travelling through and would love to visit again in summer to go for a swim! Thanks again Chris.

Highly recommended - Great trip! Was brilliant to experience Lake Taupō on a yacht rather than a over crowded and over commercialised power boat.

Great trip to do on a sunny day - We had a great day weather-wise, especially for this late in the season, so it was great to sail our onto Lake Taupo and see the Maori Rock carvings. The skipper was friendly and knowledgeable.

Taupo Lake Cruise - Amazing morning out on Lake Taupo with the Sail Barbary Team. Wrap up warm in the winter months as it can be chilly but the warm coffee helped us through it! It was fantastic to see the Rock Carving and to hear the story behind them and the local area from our Skipper!

A great morning of sailing - Great fun, in spite of the weather and a very informative morning. Peter was very knowledgeable about the lake and its history. Thoroughly enjoyed our morning’s sail, thank you.

Bad weather- bad experience - The weather was bad and my partner had severe sea sickness. It ruined the experience for at least 3-4 people. Do check the weather before onboard. Also we didn’t receive the electric boat as mentioned in the description and pic. The boat was making noise and overall it was a wild experience.
