Begin with a scenic flight ascending to 12,000ft, 15,000ft, or 16,500ft, depending on your chosen altitude. Enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Taupo, Mount Ruapehu, and Mount Ngauruhoe – famously known as Mount Doom from Lord of the Rings.
Upon reaching the desired altitude, the doors will open, and you will sit at the plane’s edge with your tandem master positioned behind you. After exiting the aircraft, experience the thrill of freefalling at speeds of 200 kph! At 5,500 feet, your tandem master will deploy the parachute, allowing you to catch your breath and admire the stunning vistas of the Lake Taupo region.
Gently float back to earth with a serene parachute ride alongside your tandem master, landing safely back at the drop zone. Once on the ground, it’s time for a celebratory high five and a hug. Congratulations, you did it!
