There is cool stuff to do in Tauranga!!! - I hadn't been to Waimarino (as an active participant) since I was a kid but what an incredible place it has become. I took my kids there for my daughter's birthday and we all had a ball! My daughter's favourite was the Tarzan and Jane swing, my son loved the slide and the blob (my 100kgs vs his 40kgs gave him a massive boost) and I enjoyed hauling myself up and down everything even if the body's feeling it today. We often complain there is nothing to do in Tauranga, but I feel like this is one of those experiences locals often foget about. I definitely won't leave it 30 years until the next time. Special mention to Jack and Eben who were awesome "lifeguards"!!!

Fantastic adventure place for all the family - Fantastic, well run place, with safety in mind. Relaxing for parents and grandparents as well as children. Our south island teenaged grandchildren rated it the best activity over 3 weeks and we have been to Hobbiton, Waitomo Caves, Sky Tower, Kayaking....... Food like chips etc available, drinks, including lattes. Some seating available but handy to take your own chairs and rugs so that you can sit anywhere. Lots for the kids to do here and tire themselves out!!!! We came last year as well. Wish there were more in NZ like this.

Amazing!!!! - I loved it so much and so did all my friends, there is so much to do displaying variation. Our favourite parts were definitely the blob, the trampoline on water alongside kayaking, paddle boarding, the waterslide and the swing. So pretty much everything. Another benefit we loved was how much seating there was and so when we wanted to take a break there were tables available. One other perk we really liked was the hot pool , we all hoped in it when we were done because the day we went on was a bit gloomy and cold. it’s in the perfect spot and how there aren’t any around like it, meaning many people want to come and enjoy it, especially when it’s summer.

Good pick for all ages - We were a group of 14 (3 family's with all boys ages 10 to 17 year old) all of the kids and adults loved it, so much to do with the water activities, rock climbing and volleyball. Would recommend anyone to go there.

Tino pai - Best fun ever loved it, kids loved it. I watched and felt safe that kids were being watched by staff as well as our own whanau. Facilities clean. Would be good to hv umbrellas on picnic tables that don’t hv shelter but we made do. Awesome day.

Fun Day Kayaking - We had a great day kayaking. All of the guides were very knowledgeable about the lake, the area and the glow worms. A very nice picnic lunch was provided with a sandwich, oranges, cookies and most importantly CHOCOLATE. We would definitely recommend this tour.

A great day for the family - Even though the weather wasn’t great, our family had an awesome time. Friendly staff and exciting facilities. It’s a place we have driven past lots but never visited. Glad we finally did. We will definitely return.

Action packed entertainment for the whole family - Kids love it and very entertaining to watch them. My 3yr old spent the day in the pool and slip & slide while my older kids made the most of everything on offer. Will definitely be back

Waimarino fantastic day out - Great day out for a cheap cost per person, loads of activities to suit all ages and they now have a cafe although you can still take your own food and make use of the bbq’s. We go once a year, arriving just after opening, take our sunshade and picnic and have a fun fulled day. Highly recommended.
