McKaren Kayak - The steep canyons, mist hovering over the river and the sun filtering through the trees and ferns.
Jes was a wonderful guide adding much about the area.

A Pleasurable actvity in a Relaxing, Picturesque Environment. - David was an excellent guide for a wonderful time on the waters of Lake McLaren. From the pick up point, his reassuring, relaxed and informative manner assisted us to totally enjoy a day of great fun and immersive scenery. Throughout the excursion we felt safe, relaxed and completely looked after. David's happy, caring disposition was appreciated and the experience and scenery was truly memorable.

Easy, peaceful kayak excursion for all ages. - First time kayaking and it was super easy. Guide was informative and the scenery was awesome. Was picked up and dropped off from cruise port. Highly recommend as a day excursion when your ship is in port.

Beautiful day - Had a great day at Lake McLean. The scenic drive was beautiful and the kayaking was great! Shout out to our guide Christie, who looked after us. He was terrific - really informative.

So happy for this experience! - This was a fabulous experience right from the beginning with our guides being so friendly and welcoming! Both guides seemed to be very knowledgeable about the area and they were also very helpful. The paddling of the kayaks was approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours which was a little long for me, but I would highly recommend this tour just to see the beauty of Mcclaren lake and to learn about the glow worms. Thank you to Darough (spelling???) & Kris…excellent guides!

A great activity - even for the over 50’s ! - As two novice kayakers, we booked this and were met at the port and taken swiftly to Waimarino for a pit stop and to collect the Kayaks. Our guide Crispy was really considerate and explained things as we went along. Our small group, 7 in total carried on up to Lake McClaren, quickly got the kayaks and safety gear on the water. Spent the time going around the lake, then up two rivers, estimated total of 4km, very smooth and relaxing. Highly recommend.

Relaxed starter experience to kayaking - Tom our instructor was superb, whilst I’ve kayaked for a number of years my wife has not, this was a great starter experience for her with some stunning scenery as well. Would highly recommended this experience.

Fun Family Kayak Tour - This was a perfect kayak tour for our family. We are a family of five with boys ages 13, 10, and 6. Our guide David was great. He answered our questions and shared information about the area. The lake was beautiful.

A MUST DO - Hannah our tour guide made the experience beautiful with the amount of knowledge of the area she had. The beautiful scenery and peaceful area really made the experience. We were able to organise this tour from the cruise ship terminal. Highly recommend.
