You can't beat the price!! - $43 for all you can paddle (up to 7 hrs). It doesn't get any better than that!! You can go alone or schedule a guide. It's up to you. Highly recommended.

Kayaking in Tavernier - Did the all day rental, but only spent about 2.5 hours in the water. We saw lots of fish, a juvenile manatee, a couple of rays, jelly fish, and several species of birds. Great family activity. Both of my kids, 12 (M), and 15 (F), had a good time.

Other worldly - Holy moly this was incredible I went with 9 people some experienced some not and we all had a blast. You literally have to Tarzan at certain points because the mangroves are so thick. We did self guided tour and it was easy to navigate.

Manatees and beautiful water - From walking in the front door to returning the equipment the staff was friendly and polite. Equipment was in good condition and the areas where we kayaked were beautiful! Enough other people to make it safe but not too many. I liked the mangroves and my family preferred the open water to the island. Would do again!

Enjoyable and relaxing - A fun experience! We went on our own and explored at our own pace. Definitely worth navigating to the large lagoon deep in the mangrove!

Monkeying Around in The Mangroves - Pick up was very easy through booking with TripAdvisor, was told since we had our reservations through this site we could have our choice of two singles or one double. Highly recommend a double if your with your spouse or partner for those channels to explore were extremely narrow with low low branches. The paddles they provide are much too long...this place needs to switch them to the paddles that can be taken apart into a two section piece. We had to use the Mangrove branches to monkey bar our way through the narrow maze. It was definitely an adventure but not for the unfit. Would not recommend to folks who have back issues, neck, shoulder, or over weight. We had to twist our bodies in various ways as the branches quickly become obstacles. Did not see a Manatee until we came back and there was one nursing on a fresh water running hose that one of the docked boat captains had on for the local Manatees
