Tavira Olive Factory - Very informative tour. Andrea and her family were friendly and welcoming and passionate in passing on their knowledge. Enjoyed the tasting afterwards. A little difficult to find but well worth the effort. Would highly recommend

Algarve Must-Do! - Wow! Talk about a diamond in the rough! We thought this was one of our favorite experiences in the Algarve (and I’m not even an olive lover!) This business is run by a mom and her two very savvy daughters, and the family-run nature of it is heartwarming and impressive considering the amount of work they do and accolades they have received! Andrea took us through the whole factory and explained how olives make it from their tree to our table, as well as covering information on olive oil, salt, pesticides, and so much more. The tour ended with a tasting of multiple different types of their preservative-free olives, sauces, homemade sourdough, and ample wine. It was fantastic and we would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to break up their beach days with something a little more fun and different!!

Great experience - Andrea the tour guide was amazing we learnt so much. The tour included two glasses of wine and lots of olives and snacks it was great value. Would definitely recommend!

Great experience - Great experience! Very knowledgeable, unfortunately didn’t get to see olives being processed due to the month we visited but still worth it ! Great olives to taste paired with cheeses, jams, wines and amazing sourdough made at the location. This location doesn’t make the olive oil but so many options to buy with tasting of each one to make sure it’s a good fit. Great for family, couples, solo travelers and friend groups.

Superb stay - Lovely hotel that is beautifully decorated. The staff were superb -nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was probably the best breakfast we have ever had,so much choice and freshly cooked. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel.

A highlight of our trip - This is not an olive grove or olive oil tour. Andrea shows you the machines for olive production and explains the process. She is a born entertainer and makes the tour interesting and amusing even if the machines aren't working. The best part is after when you get to have various snacks( an understatement) accompanied with wine. We met lots of nice people while enjoying the little feast. At the end you have the opportunity to purchase some of the things you have sampled. Be warned, you will not be able to resist!
