• Jinvali Water Reservoir - The river flows into the Zhinvali reservoir. The dam, standing at 102 meters high, began operation in 1986. The power plant on the dam wall generates 130 megawatts of power. Additionally, a 37 km pipeline provides Tbilisi with drinking water.
• Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - Ananuri fortress is a 16th-century castle complex located on the Aragvi River. It is situated beside the renowned Georgian Military Highway, overlooking the expansive Jinvali lake. Its tall, turreted stone walls safeguard two churches, a watchtower, and a reservoir. The main church’s facade is intricately carved with animal, floral, and Celtic-style patterns.
• Gudauri - After driving for another hour, guests arrive at Gudauri, which is 120 km north of Tbilisi. The total driving time to reach this destination is 2 hours.

  “Kazbegi is the third highest mountain in Georgia and the eighth highest in the Caucasus.” It rises as a trachytic extinct volcanic cone from a 1,770-meter base to 5,054 meters. Several impressive glaciers and a mix of permanent and periodic snow fields extend along its sides. The mountain is part of the Khokh chain, a northern extension of the Greater Caucasus.

• Gergeti Trinity Church - The Gergeti Trinity Church was constructed in the 14th century, with the tower added about a century later. It stands at an altitude of 2,170 meters, facing Kazbegi. The name “Gergeti” is derived from the vanished Georgian village of Gergeti on the right bank of the Tergi River.
