A bread & wine education with some love and religion! - This trip has plenty of variety and stops. The wine tasting was particularly interesting and professional and the lunch was freshly prepared and generous. Quite a long journey but safe driving.

Wonderful experience with a great tour company - This trip was such an amazing experience. Delicious wine and snacks during the day, followed by the stop at Bodbe Monastery. Although it was quite foggy and not great for instagramable photos, the monastery grounds were still gorgeous. The life of St. Nino is interesting. We had a late “lunch” around 5:00 or 6:00 at the final stop, which was a winery and there we learned about traditional Georgian wine making. On the drive back to Tblisi, about an hour outside Tblisi, we had a medical emergency. Thanks to the driver and Omar’s (our guide) quick reaction, we pulled over, Omar called the ambulance service and the woman was able to get roadside medical attention. She and her family opted to send her to the hospital for further observation (she either had a stroke or seizure). You never think of medical emergencies on guided tours, but I took comfort in Omar’s quick reaction and I hope the lady is doing okay and can still enjoy her stay in Tblisi.

The stunning scenery, vibrant atmosphere, and rich history of the region were expertly showcased by our knowledgeable guide, George. His friendly demeanor and in-depth explanations of the landmarks we encountered made the experience unforgettable. Small towns of Kakheti - Kakheti is a very picturesque wine region of Georgia. The one-day tour from Tbilisi included visits to small towns in this region. Along the way, we stopped several times for tasting: wines, honey, cherchekhela and bread. Sighnaghi is a small town famous for the fact that you can get married very easily and quickly. Telavi is also a small town that became famous because of the Soviet movie masterpiece Mimino. A tour of Kakheti leaves a very pleasant impression.

Magical and entertaining! - The highlight of the trip was Timur. His ability to get everyone entertained, laughing and engaged is commendable. We need more people like him in tours. How he keeps his energy high for the full 10 hours is just beyond me. Also, he made sure all cultures are being appreciated and recognized.

Interesting wine tasting trip but best to avoid from this tour - Irina from Imperial Tours helped me a lot even before I booked and was always ready to answer any of my questions even before I reached Georgia. George the tour guide for this trip was good. I just wish he would spend more time talking about other parts of the trip rather than only about wedding city and vagaries of marriage or Georgian women. I learnt much more about this trip from other tour guides in other trips than from George. The tour guide did not even offer water even though it was part of the tour. Also, the restaurant that this tour takes us for lunch is not worth spending a penny; too pricey and bland in taste and the service was pathetic even after 4pm as the food arrived way too late after ordering. P.S. we ordered vegetarian food.
