Embark on a journey of discovery through Georgia’s enchanting mountain landscapes, courtesy of the Military Highway that takes you to the breathtaking Kazbegi region. This area, steeped in legend, is nestled among the towering peaks of the mighty Caucasus range.

Your tour guide will accompany you to Kazbegi. You’ll traverse the scenic route from Mtskheta via the Military Highway, treading past the captivating Ananuri Castle and the incredibly picturesque Jinvaly water reservoir. Overlooking the town of Kazbegi, perched like a mystical fortress, is the Gergeti Trinity Church. Constructed in the 14th century, the climb to this historic edifice proves to be an exhilarating experience. Despite the seemingly imposing ascent, the path is quite navigable, taking you only an hour to negotiate the winding trail and the prickly woods.

It is common for climbers scaling the peak to rest near the church to adapt to the altered conditions. The church’s elevation is 2170 m. The tour concludes with a drive back to Tbilisi.
