• Baia’s Wine - For lunch, we visit the family winery “Baia’s Wine” located in the village of Obcha, Bagdati municipality. First, Baia and her sister Gvantsa show us their vineyard, which is just behind their house. Then, we move to the wine cellar to sample several types of wines they produce, including “Tsolikouri,” “Krakhuna,” “Aladasturi,” “Ojaleshi,” “Otskhanuri Sapere,” and of course, “Chacha.” Afterward, we gather around a large table filled with Georgian food. Their mother prepares the most delicious Imeretian dishes you’ll ever taste.
• Kutaisi - Upon arriving in Kutaisi, we start with a walking tour of the downtown area. Here, the guide shares the history of Georgia and Kutaisi. After taking pictures at the fountain, the group continues to the central park, where the statues of the sisters “Ishkhnelebi” and the “9 April” memorial are located. We then pass by the Kutaisi city hall, Opera house, and visit the “Mon Plasir” arch. Next, we walk by the first gymnasium, visit the white bridge, stroll through the park of love, and see the Golden Marquee Palace. Finally, we head to the central grocery market called “Mtsvane Bazari.”
