Great tour and experience with a fantastic and knowledgeable guide - Our group tour started early in the morning at 7:30 AM and our excellent guide Paata was perfectly on time. The tour itself is fantastic and Paata kept us laughing and entertained throughout the journey especially during the longer stretches between legs. The lunch arranged after the fantastic climb through Vardzia was incredible especially since the cave system was both fun and exciting to climb through. In case you can't climb a lot, I would recommend you rest below and not buy a ticket for the bus journey to the base of the caves. Paata was considerate and asked everyone if they could climb and did not take anything for granted. The highlight of this tour is Vardzia while Borjomi is very underwhelming. I would recommend that you request only a five or ten minute stop at Borjomi to taste the spring water instead of taking the cable car or park tour as those doesn't offer anything special and are expensive. Pros: Paata was a hilarious and knowledgeable guide, the Vardzia leg was beautiful and an incredible experience, food was fantastic, bus journey was comfortable. Cons: Borjomi offers nothing special and I would recommend skipping it if possible. Thank you Ushba for a great experience.

Good day tour to keep your occupied for whole day - The trip is well planned with plenty of time to spend at each location. One point to highlight, they should clearly mention that there would be some hiking or steep stairs to climb at Vardzia. Rest everything was perfect.

Recommended for visiting - We had a great time in beautiful locations in Georgia. I liked the sights. The tour was purchased through the Urba Travel agency. I would also like to note the approach and professionalism of the manager of the above travel agency, Karim.

Unforgettable journey! - Amazing excursion! Comfortable Mercedes minivan. The guide in Lebanon is a special love! A professional in his field, he presented all the information in an interesting way, joked sparklingly and answered all questions. It was great! Time flew by. We recommend it from the bottom of our hearts!

An incredible trip to Vardzia and back - This is our first trip to Georgia and we chose this excursion because of the most interesting points for us - Borjomi and Vardzia. The route is long, it was about 550 km, but for ordinary tourist passengers it is not difficult. It was more difficult for our guide, Vissarion, he is both the driver and our nanny and assistant. An interesting storyteller, multilingual, managed to tell and explain everything in both English and Russian. He himself walked with us, not to say that it was a simple route through the Vardzia caves. Everything was very interesting and informative. The Akhaltsikhe fortress is, of course, a remake and we didn’t get any special impressions there. Just a beautiful place. The only thing I would like to draw your attention to is one inaccuracy in the description of the tour, which was included when booking - it was indicated that you need to take food and water with you, and that there will be no stops for food. Vissarion also stopped for the toilet, and he himself organized lunch for us in Vardzia, and the lunch turned out to be excellent, tasty and not expensive. So we also got a gastronomic tour. Highly recommend

Great places with excellent guide - Epic adventure to see some amazing places all in one day. Peso was an excellent guide and has a lot of knowledge to share. Would definitely recommend this tours as it’s much easier than organising travel to each place yourself.

Very tiring but worth it - Unfortunately I was on a tour with only Russians, besides two very nice Chinese girls - obviously not the organisers’ fault, but I wish they told me and gave me alternative options. Besides 3 of them, the other Russians were all incredibly rude and unfriendly. It would have been nice if the guide grouped us English speakers together on the bus, instead I was made to sit in front of those two really rude Russian women that treated my seat as their own, one even put her bare foot on it - really disgusting. I would highly recommend going to the agency’s office few days before and check on your group so you can change the date in case. The Russians I’ve met in the UK are all lovely but, after a week in Georgia, I feel like there are two different kinds of Russians, at least in my experience. The tour itself is fantastic, you get to see very nice and interesting places. There’s no time to visit both the park and go on the cable car - I wish I chose the cable car since the park itself is quite bland; very good for hiking I guess but not great for a one-hour long visit. The caves are fascinating and the highlight of the tour - they’re exhausting though, there’s loads of up and down on narrow and irregular stairs and tunnels, and definitely require to be in very good physical shape. My legs hurt for 2 days afterwards, and I’m used to walk a lot. I totalled 58 flights of stairs at the end of the day! We had to wait for ages many times for the one slower person, which was annoying since it was boiling hot and with very little shade - definitely wear sunscreen. The restaurant we stopped at was incredibly overpriced (20GEL for a Khachapuri Adjaruli, in Tbilisi you pay 4-7GEL) and really not good, I couldn’t eat any of the food. But it’s the only option in the area - I would recommend bringing a packed lunch. Our guide was very knowledgeable and a really kind man.

Good tour to the south of Georgia - Long journey, but very entertaining thanks to the guide. Varzia in particular was an absolute highlight. The other two stops are only of limited interest
