Highlights
  • Borjomi Central Park - Picturesque Borjomi
A road through a fantastically beautiful gorge will lead you to Borjomi: you will walk around the city center, visit a park where Emperor Nicholas II and his family rest every year, see a monument to Prometheus and a pretty waterfall, and also climb the cable car to the plateau from which they open stunning views of the surroundings. Of course, we’ll talk about the famous “mineral water”, which is mined in the valley of the same name located in the territory of the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. I will tell you about the results of archaeological excavations that shed light on the history of local mineral water, and right from the source you can taste the world famous water.

  • Rabati - Medieval fortress Rabat
You will get acquainted with one of the most expressive and colorful monuments of Georgia, literally absorbing the energy of both cultures: the fortress was the most important transit point between the Christian and Muslim worlds. You will examine the halls of the palace, decorated in the old Georgian style, and the impressive size of the fortress itself and the richness of decoration should not leave you indifferent. I will tell you about the foundation of Rabat, its name and explain the significance of Akhaltsikhe in the history of Georgia.

  • Vardzia - Cave Vardzia
The ancient complex of Vardzia is not just carved into the rock premises. This cave fortress is a monastery built not far from Tbilisi in the 12th century. The extraordinary city has 13 levels and more than 500 rooms: churches, chapels, residential cells, pantries, baths, refectories, treasuries, libraries. The rooms go 50 meters in depth and rise to a height of eight floors, in addition, secret passages that connected the premises, the remains of the water supply and irrigation system are preserved. During the tour you will explore every corner of Vardzia and find out what purpose the rock city was built and what functions it performed throughout the history of its existence. And on the way to the ancient complex you will see a wonderful panorama of the perfectly preserved Khertvisi fortress.

Recommended for visiting - We had a great time in beautiful locations in Georgia. I liked the sights. The tour was purchased through the Urba Travel agency. I would also like to note the approach and professionalism of the manager of the above travel agency, Karim.

Unforgettable journey! - Amazing excursion! Comfortable Mercedes minivan. The guide in Lebanon is a special love! A professional in his field, he presented all the information in an interesting way, joked sparklingly and answered all questions. It was great! Time flew by. We recommend it from the bottom of our hearts!

An incredible trip to Vardzia and back - This is our first trip to Georgia and we chose this excursion because of the most interesting points for us - Borjomi and Vardzia. The route is long, it was about 550 km, but for ordinary tourist passengers it is not difficult. It was more difficult for our guide, Vissarion, he is both the driver and our nanny and assistant. An interesting storyteller, multilingual, managed to tell and explain everything in both English and Russian. He himself walked with us, not to say that it was a simple route through the Vardzia caves. Everything was very interesting and informative. The Akhaltsikhe fortress is, of course, a remake and we didn’t get any special impressions there. Just a beautiful place. The only thing I would like to draw your attention to is one inaccuracy in the description of the tour, which was included when booking - it was indicated that you need to take food and water with you, and that there will be no stops for food. Vissarion also stopped for the toilet, and he himself organized lunch for us in Vardzia, and the lunch turned out to be excellent, tasty and not expensive. So we also got a gastronomic tour. Highly recommend

Great places with excellent guide - Epic adventure to see some amazing places all in one day. Peso was an excellent guide and has a lot of knowledge to share. Would definitely recommend this tours as it’s much easier than organising travel to each place yourself.

Good tour to the south of Georgia - Long journey, but very entertaining thanks to the guide. Varzia in particular was an absolute highlight. The other two stops are only of limited interest

Not a 100% good experience... - PROS: The place we visited were amazing and really interesting, the sights were beautiful, however, I can't give this tour 5 starts because there were a few things that bothered me. CONS: 1st. I was completely lost when I got to the starting point, there wasn't anyone there waiting for me, the office was closed and I had to call the company several times and the person who finally answered me barely spoke English, it was really hard to understand him, then 15 minutes later the guide showed up to pick me up, I had to wait there alone and it was really cold. 2nd. The tour guide lacked tact and political correctness, he didn't make me feel comfortable a few times during the trip. 3rd. The restaurant that was picked to have lunch was awful, the food there was terrible, completely tasteless. Overall the experience was more or less OK. This company has a lot to improve and learn, that's for sure.
