Great tour to explore off the beaten path and learn about Georgia's Soviet past and the amazing architecture of that era. - Brilliant tour - most interesting thing we did in Tbilisi! Giorgi was great - extremely knowledgable and informative about Georgia's Soviet past, and the spectacular architecture of that era. Great opportunity to explore off the beaten path of the main tourist sites.

The best tour to see the real tbilisi - This was honestly one of the best tours I've ever done in my life. It gives you a chance to see all round Tbilisi, not just around the old town, and some really amazing architecture and soviet history. George my guide was amazing, answered all of my questions and really tailored the experience to my interests. If you want to see the real tbilisi and learn about the history and understand the city, I'd really reccomend it!

Great overview of Georgian history and culture - We spent a very enjoyable and informative day with Irakli. We saw interesting sights: underground Communist printing press, the amazing Bank of Georgia building, and an interesting bridge/elevator that local people use to navigate the hilly housing complexes. He added context and a personal touch to the tour. I thought the price was very reasonable for a private 5 hour tour.

Super-interesting tour, impressive, competent and highly informed guide and very safe driver - must-do - The tour was great, our guide Giorgi was very friendly, providing us with a lot of information about Georgia, Tblissi, and of course about the soviet period, from the beginning to the traces still to be seen or felt today. We got to see monuments which we wouldn't have discovered by ourselves in the city, or without a car, which was great, and which gave us a great overview of this vast city. Highly recommended! We were impressed by his competent answers of each question we threw at him, also non-related to the tour-theme, he knew it all, and in full detail. Also, like other reviewers stated, and should not be underestimated, Giorgi is a very safe and relaxed driver, always anticipating (sometimes quite chaotic) traffic, so that no surprise movements or breaking happen at all.

Great way to see the city and learn its history! - This was a highlight of our trip to Tbilisi! George was incredibly knowledgeable about the city and its history (and has a great taste in music)! We got to see parts of the city we would not have normally seen or would have struggled to get to without a guide. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Tbilisi especially if you’re interested in history and/or architecture.

Best historical tour I’ve ever done - I thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon tour around Tbilisi’s Soviet past. It was an unforgettable experience. Giorgi was my terrific guide, providing a unique and insightful perspective. He clearly is passionate about sharing this history with visitors and is a wellspring of knowledge of the city’s complex past and present. It was like having a personal historian. Each site we visited was remarkable. Giorgi is also an excellent driver, navigating traffic with grace. The visit to the Stalin museum (and meeting the eccentric custodian) is something I will be telling my grandkids about! This is my second wonderful tour with this locally run tour company and will not be my last.

Knowledgeable tour guide - Love this trip. Tour guide was amazing. Knew the little things and was pleasant to chat with. He has a Masters degree which made for great academic conversations as well. He spoke English well like a native speaker. My husband and I enjoyed this tour very much.
