Next, we proceed to the Enguri Dam, one of the world’s tallest arch dams, standing at 271.5 meters. We continue to Mazeri village for an overnight stay.

Mazeri - In the morning, we begin our hike from Mazeri village, following the Dolra River upstream. We then return to Mazeri village.
Mazeri-Guli Pass – Koruldi Lakes – Mestia
Mestia - In the morning, we embark on another splendid hike, heading to Koruldi Lakes via Guli Pass. At an elevation of 2960 meters, Guli Pass requires considerable physical effort to climb. After crossing the pass, we descend into another valley and easily reach Koruldi Lakes, a small alpine lake surrounded by impressive mountain peaks, including Ushba.

After lunch on the ridge and taking in the views, we descend into the Khaldechala River valley. The village’s blend of mountainous landscapes and medieval towers and churches will amaze visitors. Here, we visit the Ushguli Ethnographic Museum, housed in a 12th-century Svanetian tower-house, and the medieval Lamaria Church (Church of the Assumption of the Mother of God).
