Tbilisi highlights - What a treat to enjoy a private guide for my husband and me on our first trip to Tbilisi. George was a native of the city; he knew its history because he had lived it, and shared with us anecdotes that fit into the larger history of the city. He was a wonderful companion, taking us to all the major sites. He even timed the tour to arrive at the clock tower just as it opened for the small crowd gathered below.

Perfect solo tour - This tour is perfect for a solo traveller at the beginning of your stay. At your own pace, explore and learn about the Narikala Fortress and its sulphur baths, take a cable car up to the Mother of Georgia, visit the peaceful and beautiful Holy Trinity Cathedral, and spend time at incomparable markets. You will be introduced to places you will want to revisit. My guide also drove me to different areas of the city to explain the history of these areas. A bonus for me was to just pause for a coffee and have a great conversation with my guide about the geography and recent history of Georgia. Highly recommended.

Private tour of Tblisi - Gogi met us on time and with a smile. The tour was very informative and perfectly paced. We had plent of time to enjoy the scenery and learn about the history of the country. Having a car abled us to cover different parts of the city, which is best appreciated from the highest peek. Gogi is enthusiastic about his country and eager to share his knowlege. It is definitely worth paying for a smaller group as you have more time to ask questions and discuss the history further. A wonderful day with Gogi and we would highly recommend this tour. Our personal thanks to Gogi.

Excellent local guide - Delightful afternoon with a smart, well informed guide. Gogi was prompt, polite and warm hearted. Clearly he cares about his city and country. He was willing to be flexible with the itinerary and change things I wasn't interested in. I know if I'd wanted greater detail he would have known all the facts. The best part was that I enjoyed being hosted by a real local. Highly recommended!
