Highlights
  • Rose Revolution Square - We meet you at 7:00 AM or 6:00 PM, depending on your booking time. Our meeting point is Rose Revolution Square, located in front of the Radisson Hotel.
  • Rustaveli Avenue - Just as you must stroll the Champs Elysees in Paris, Rustaveli Avenue is a must-explore when visiting Tbilisi. We will explore Tbilisi’s most significant and magnificent buildings, along with numerous hotels, restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops.
  • Freedom Monument - We arrive at Liberty Square, the main square of Georgia, situated in the heart of Tbilisi.
  • Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theater - In 2010, Rezo Gabriadze constructed a unique clock tower next to the marionette theater in Tbilisi’s old town. Every hour, an angel emerges with a small hammer to ring the bell. Inside the tower is a small puppet theater, and twice a day, at 12:00 and 7:00 PM, you can watch a show called “The Circle of Life.” Rezo adorned the tower with hundreds of tiles he designed himself, making it an instant architectural landmark in Tbilisi. It is often referred to as the Tower with a Clock or the Tower with the Angel.
  • The Bridge of Peace - The Bridge of Peace is a must-see attraction in Tbilisi. This pedestrian glass and steel bridge, designed in a bow shape, spans the Mtkvari (Kura) River in the Georgian capital. Officially opened in May 2010, the bridge was transported to Georgia from Italy in 200 unassembled pieces. It is 156 meters long and features over 10,000 LED bulbs that light up daily 90 minutes before sunset.
  • Rike Park - Rike Park is the newest recreational area in Tbilisi, located on the left bank of the Kura (Mtkvari) River. It has quickly become a popular spot for both locals and international visitors, especially families, during the summer. The park is easy to find, with its main entrance located right by the beautiful pedestrian Bridge of Peace. Rike Park offers numerous entertainment facilities, including singing and dancing fountains, artificial climbing walls, a children’s maze, mega-chess boards, footpaths, and quiet corners.
  • Monument of King Vakhtang Gorgasali - Vakhtang I Gorgasali, from the Chosroid dynasty, was a king of Iberia (now known as Kartli) during the second half of the 5th century and the first quarter of the 6th century. Dating his reign is challenging. Allied with the Byzantine Empire, he led his people in a prolonged struggle against Sasanian Iranian dominance, which ultimately resulted in his defeat and the weakening of the Iberian kingdom. Tradition credits him with reorganizing the Georgian Orthodox Church and founding Tbilisi, Georgia’s modern capital. Historian Ivane Javakhishvili dates his rule to approximately 449–502.
  • Metekhi Cathedral - The Virgin Mary Metekhi Church is situated on a cliff plateau on the left bank of the Mtkvari River. The first church on this site was likely built by Vakhtang Gorgasali, symbolically resembling the church built on the Virgin Mary’s tomb in the Gethsemane Garden in Jerusalem. According to legend, former Catholicos Kirion transferred Saint Shushanik to this church in the 7th century.
  • Abanotubani - Abanotubani is the name of the district in Tbilisi’s Old Town. It features an entire street (Abanos Kucha) of public bathhouses that utilize the sulfurous waters from the area’s many hot springs.
  • Chreli Abano Spa - Chreli Abano is a popular sulfur bath destination for both tourists and Georgians. Although it looks like a mosque, it is a sulfur bath, offering a unique and enjoyable experience.
  • Leghvtakhevi Waterfall - This spot is a favorite among both Georgians and foreigners for cooling off when it’s hot.
  • Narikala Fortress - Narikala Fortress is Tbilisi’s most famous landmark. No one leaves Tbilisi without visiting this impressive fortress. Despite the walls being in poor condition, you can still feel the history of Tbilisi. The fortress overlooks the Mtkvari River, adding to its magnificence. Narikala is one of the most visited sites in Tbilisi.
  • Kartlis Deda - Kartlis Deda (Mother of a Georgian), often mistakenly called Kartlis Deda, is a monument in Tbilisi that has become a symbol of the city. The statue was erected on Sololaki Hill in 1958, the year Tbilisi celebrated its 1500th anniversary. Designed by prominent Georgian sculptor Elguja Amashukeli, the twenty-meter aluminum figure of a woman in Georgian national dress symbolizes the Georgian national character: she holds a bowl of wine in her left hand to greet friends and a sword in her right hand for enemies.
  • Old Town (Altstadt) Tbilisi - Admire the narrow streets and wooden balconies of the Old Town.
  • Shardeni Street - Shardeni Street is one of the most popular and beautiful streets in Tbilisi. This pedestrian street is so well-known that no visitor leaves Georgia without seeing it.
  • Rose Revolution Square - We hope your walking tour was perfect!

Amazing highly recommend day trip in Tbilisi with such a great tour crew - It was an amazing day trip in Tbilisi. I would highly recommend it as a first tour you do in order to get familiar with the places that you might consider visiting later during your stay in Tbilisi. The tour crew Nicholas, Nino and Russia who were really humble with a good sense of humor and ready to answer any of your questions or needs. Our tour started at 6 PM and ended somewhere around 9:45 PM. We had some good time with the multi nationality group, who added a value to the tour.

Enchanting evening city walk with delightful wine tour. - Our evening city walk and free wine group tour in Tbilisi was an absolute delight! Guided by the wonderful Nina and Nicholas, our group stayed upbeat and connected throughout. Nina's knack for clicking candid pictures added an extra touch of fun to our stroll through the city streets. The wine tour was a highlight of our trip, offering us a deeper understanding of Georgian wines and helping us find our perfect match. It was a joy to sample and learn about the rich wine culture firsthand. Beyond the sights and sips, what truly made the experience memorable were the people we met. We made some wonderful friends, especially Nina, whose warmth and knowledge left a lasting impression on us. We can't wait to return and explore more with Nina and the team! :)

Hands down the best way to get started on exploring Tbilisi - If it’s your first time in Tbilisi, it can get a bit overwhelming since there’s so much to explore and do and learn in this beautiful place. This tour is perfect to get you on board. Freddie—who was our guide, did an amazing job taking us around the city while explaining the history behind each landmark and he did it so passionately it makes you fall in love with Tbilisi as well. He’s packed with knowledge of the cultural aspects and history behind Georgia but will also give you little tips and tricks on getting around and traveling here as a tourist as well. We had so much fun sightseeing, taking pictures and trying wine ice cream of course!! 3.5 hours flew by and we didn’t even realize. You will also be stunned by the beautiful scenery of this magical place. This is a proper tourist experience. Worth every Lari I promise you. 10000000/10 would recommend!!

Best experience ever! - It was an amazing experience I ever had in my life. Our tour guide Freddy was very friendly and easy going as he was explaining to us the origins and ancient history of Tbilisi city, where he started taking us to the downtown visiting ancient churches in Tbilisi, riding up and down the cable cars to the mountain top where even more tourist attractions took place, watching the beautiful sunset high up on the mountains then finishing up with some wine tasting and some “chacha” drink, a strong alcoholic drink traditionally to the Georgians! I love it. Thank you Freddy for this amazing tour.
