Food tour - Had a great time trying making Georgian cuisine like kachapuri, khinkali, eggplant rolls, cornbread Thanks to the lovely host and excellent cook Ms Shorena who helped me try hands on these delicacies and to our guide Mary who explained all details of the process

Fantastic food experience in a local family - I got to cook kachapuri and kinkali (dumplings) and corn bread while my truly excellent host explained how to make it. Making the dumplings was really fun and I learned a lot of tips about how to make them extra juicy. And I also rolled up some walnut filled aubergines which tasted amazing. Tota was a really incredible guide and explained a lot about the traditions about the food. Although I suspect he was being flattering when he translated that the host said I was doing well at making the kachapuri! This was finished off with an excellent dinner served with lots of salads and bread and was a really lovely change from going to restaurants. We made a lot of toasts and Tota taught me a lot about the history of Georgia including answers to my many questions about the buildings and the language. I’ve done a lot of tours but to cook with someone in their home and eat dinner there felt really special.

Unbelievable - Food tour with a local family is a wonderful experience you can ever have in Tbilisi, I'd recommend to anyone who wants to immerse in Georgia cuisine. Our guide Patti was amazing, super friendly and always explaining how to prepare the local dishes along with the local family. After the cooking was done, was time to eat everything, besides the food we had wine and chacha and a beautiful dinner and great conversation with Patti. Best wishes Patti!

One of a kind experience! - Super loved this experience! So blessed to have Salome as our tour guide, she’s such a bliss to spend time with, very genuine personality, love her to bits! My fave tour guide this trip! And the host was also very awesome. We did it at a local house so it’s an additional great experience on top of the cooking. We made Khinkali, Khachapuri, Eggplants with walnut, and the cornbread! We have a fun bunch, made it even memorable! 100% recommend this for kids, couples, family, solos, everyone would definitely enjoy this! And hope you’ll get Salome!
