• Jvari Church - Jvari (Cross) Monastery – This is the 6th century monument located on the top of the Mountain and overlooking Ancient Capital Mtskheta. It is listed as world heritage site by UNESCO. Jvari Monastery has become one of the sites of pilgrims for centuries.
• Svetitskhoveli Cathedral - Svetitskhoveli – This is the place where the first Georgian church has been built and also the place where sacred things are stored. From Mtskheta has spread Christianity to all over Georgia.
• Samtavro Church - Samtvaro Monastery - is an important Early and High Medieval historical and architectural monument, protected by UNESCO. This is the place where a small church was built here by Saint Nino in connection with conversion of Georgia in Christianity.

Our journey begins in the heart of Tbilisi, the capital. As we drive through the city, I’ll share insights about the buildings along the main avenue. We’ll then head down to the riverbank and continue our trip towards the city of Mtskheta. Along the way, I’ll narrate the history of Tbilisi and Mtskheta, delve into the development of Georgian history, and explain the significance of winemaking in Georgian culture. Upon reaching our first destination, Jvari, you’ll have ample time to hear about the monument and take photos. Next, we’ll descend the hill to the old capital, Mtskheta, and stop at our second destination, Svetitskhoveli. Here, we’ll explore the monument and you’ll have time to look around. Our third stop will be Samtavro Monastery, where we’ll go inside, share its story, and give you time to explore. Finally, guests can choose to dine at a Georgian restaurant (at their own expense).
