- Tucume Pyramids - The Tour Tucume Pyramids & Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum starts early in the morning picking you up at the hotel located in the city of Chiclayo, to go then to the archaeological complex of Túcume, 20 miles away from the city. Known as the valley of pyramids, it has 26 pyramids made of adobe located around Cerro La Raya, and this place belonged to different cultures such as the Lambayeque, Chimu and Inca. Huaca Larga is the name of the main area developed over 500 years through different generations. Here the Temple of the Sacred Stone is located and it belonged to the Incas during their time, and it is the place where a funerary bundle of an important leader was found.
- Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum - Then we will continue the visit to the Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum (optional), to appreciate the amazing pieces that were found in the tombs of the highest rulers of the time, such as the Lord of Sipán. This archaeological museum was inspired by the pyramids of the Mochica culture. You will explore this place with the professional guide, and admire the exhibition of gold artifacts, ceramics and clothing found on Huaca Rajada, the tomb of the ancient leader the Lord of Sipan. At the end of the tour, we will drop you off to the hotel.
