Can't Be Better than This - The captain is invested in ensuring you have a wonderful time. He is very knowledgeable about the surroundings and takes you to hidden spots like The Hidden Lake and waterfalls.. The boat is immaculate and the food and drink offered are excellent. The first mate cares for you as she takes y ou for a hike to Hidden lake ( m15 minutes one way) explaining the surroundings. By the way the day I sailed the lake was perfectly calm. I would recommend this cruise with out reservation or shopping around.

Just the best - This was part of a lower South Island group tour. I knew it it had drinks and canopies, but that's about all. The reality was 200% better. Beautiful boat, enthusiastic skipper (Adam) and first mate (Nina). We started at 2pm. A scorcher of a day. A beautiful cruise towards a walk to find the 'hidden lake'. A beautiful walk with a very knowledgeable guide Nina . Back on the boat in very calm waters to have drinks and canopies. Then a chance to put up sail - beautiful. We were all encouraged to help with steering, putting up the sails, inspecting the boat and the engines. On the way way back we were under sail, but too windless to get us back to bay, so back to engines. Just before we got back to shore, under sails again, a serene, quiet sail back to shore, and then a surprise - Adam brings out the bagpipes to pipe us back to shore under sail with a fantastic Scottish medley. Just the best! Can't recommend it highly enough. If I could give it 7 stars I would!

A must do if in Te Anau - What an amazing trip. One of the best we have done. Adam and Megan are friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable. This is a 11/10 trip that exceeded our expectations. The boat is stunning, the morning tea was impressive and catered for those with specific dietary needs. It's a small group tour which meant you didn't feel like another number. The walk to the hidden lakes was a lovely and easy walk so you don't need any specific walking gear apart from decent sneakers as it can be muddy under foot. If you can check the weather before booking an afternoon breeze is good as they put up the sails to sail back to the dock. Unfortunately, we had no wind so despite putting up the sails we had to motor back. Still, that did not detract from the overall experience. For those interested in a Celtic experience, if Adam is your captain, he will bring out his bagpipes to top off the trip.

Exceptional experience on Historic Yacht - We loved our morningtea trip on the historic yacht Faith. The crew were attentive to every detail with relaxed personal service offering any drink you felt like throughout the trip. The individual platter of morning tea was delicious. Stunning scenery and interesting commentaries. ( real person commentaries not on a loud speaker!) So many amazing experiences in one morning; exploring the yacht, landing at the South arm of the lake, a walk through ancient forest to the hidden lakes, a swim off the boat, a turn at the helm or hoisting the sails. This trip was exceptional value.

EEEE! Exceptional, Exquisite, Enchanting Experience! - While the food and drinks were so good, the scenery on the boat trip glorious, the bush walk a wonderland, it was the crew Adam and Jenni and the boat FAITH that added the X-factor.

Cruise and a walk - I would highly recommend this cruise. The boat itself has quite the history and is beautifully restored. The captain was knowledgeable and very interesting. He let people drive if they wanted and the two kids on the cruise got quite a kick out of steering the boat. There is a nature hike in the middle of the cruise around the lake where a crew person talks about the local vegetation. Just a lovely afternoon

Amazing adventure! - Captain Adam and First Mate Jackie were wonderful! They were so welcoming and told us to pretend their boat was ours for the journey. My husband and brother-on-law poked around the vessel and helped raise and lower the sails. All of the food was delicious 😋 The hike to Hidden Lakes was gorgeous. This cruise was one of the best parts of our New Zealand adventure.

Relaxing way to spend 3 hours - We loved this cruise - beautiful heritage boat with lots of history, we were looked after very well by Captain Adam and First Mate Nina. A pleasant way to cruise calmly about the lake, experience the flora and fauna with Nina. We enjoyed the complimentary drinks and canapés while sailing back. Guests enjoyed being included in the running of the boat. Highly recommend.
