You may come to our address at 7:40 am on the morning of your tour. We are at 210 Milford Road, Te Anau. You will see a sign for Birchwood Cottages and then the NZ flag and a sign on the fence for “Fiordland tours/Milford Sound”. Come down the long drive and park on the grass on your left.

Extraordinary tour led by Sasha. Don’t miss this! - Sasha provided a once in a lifetime experience for my wife and I. She was outstanding. The geography, views and experiences were extraordinary. She provided narrative the whole trip except for the last hour when she respected people’s “naps” during the last hour of the drive back to Te Anau. Extraordinary scenery tha could not be seen anywhere else in the world. Don’t miss this tour. 2 hour boat cruise in the sound. 6 hours of driving with around 10 breath taking stops (and toilet breaks). Don’t miss this tour, highly recommended.

Fantastic! Definitely do this tour!!! - Fantastic tour! Fantastic tour guide (Tanya)! Epic scenery. Amazing in every way. I did quite a bit of research for this tour as it was quite pricey (for us), but I feel it was time & money well worth spending. The tour started with an early morning pick up from our hotel. Right from the start, Tanya (our tour guide & minibus driver) was really friendly & put us at ease. She was incredibly knowledgeable about both the geography & history of the area, including lots of funny & interesting anecdotes as we drove along. Tanya’s driving was great & we felt very safe throughout. We had numerous stops both on the way too & from Milford Sound, some quick photo stops (ask Tanya to take some shots for you - she’s definitely got a talent for it) and a couple included a little walk/mini trek to see waterfalls/lakes etc. The boat trip up the fiord & back was fantastic! There was plenty of room on the boat (really a catamaran) both inside & out. We started inside but then ended up spending most of our time out on the front deck. Along with the incredible scenery, we also saw some juvenile and adult seals. Both times the skipper took us in closer for a better view - the advantage of a smaller vessel. He also did the same with the waterfalls. In addition to all this, the packed lunch was fab! A sandwich packed full of lamb for my hubby & seafood for myself (prawns, smoked salmon & mussels!) and plenty of other snacks & a fruit juice. There’s also free tea, coffee & water on board the ship & a tea & cake break on the way down. You certainly won’t go hungry! An added bonus was that we were given free tickets to see Ata Whenua -shadowland (a 30min film showcasing the fiordlands from a helicopter) in Te Anau cinema which I also thoroughly enjoyed. I honestly couldn’t fault this trip. Thank you (especially Tanya)

Do it, you won’t regret it - A brilliant day. 2.5 hour drive from Te Auna through gorgeous countryside, excellent commentary from the very knowledgeable driver. Made a few stops for walks, lunch etc. Arrived Milford and onto the boat. Cruised for 1.45 hours magnificent scenery, saw dolphins and seals. Back on land, decided to do the helicopter flight, expensive but worth it. More scenery and a stop on a snow covered mountain. Dozens of photos to sort out.

Amazing day, amazing views, amazing guide and amazing boat! - The tour was amazing. The tour guide was friendly, interesting and informative. The places we visited did not disappoint. Milford sound itself was an incredible sight to behold. The boat was a medium sized catamaran with good viewing and seating opportunities. Not too crowded. The lunch sandwich was nice lots of snacks were provided, aswell as coffee and tea. Remember to bring warm, water repellant clothing, even in the summer, as the wind gets quite strong on the fiord. Amazing way to spend a day!

Unforgettable Tour with the Amazing Tania! - Tania was the best bus driver and tour guide we could have asked for. Her extensive knowledge, combined with her fun and informative style, made the tour truly memorable. She timed everything perfectly, allowing us to enjoy stops with breathtaking views. The boat ride was fantastic, and we had a delightful picnic, along with tea, coffee, and desserts at another rest stop. We were thrilled to see Kea birds, which were incredibly cute, and Tania knew all of their names. Highly recommend this tour!

Highly recommended tour. - A fantastic day! Tania, our guide, was fun and informative. The day was full but not rushed, perfect pace. Definitely recommend this company and tour. Milford Sound is breathtaking. We also had the picnic lunch which fresh, healthy and great value. Plenty of food to graze on throughout the day.

Wonderful day out - Wonderful day trip with Tania as our host. Very well organised with a picnic stop on the way to the Sound and a lovely packed lunch, we were well looked after. Liked being part of a smaller group. Tania very informative on the local area and wildlife. Boat tour was excellent. Plenty of stops along the way to take photos and even a little walk through the bush to see the river views. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful trip! - Fantastic tour! Jonathon, our bus driver was excellent. He was knowledgeable about the area and very accommodating to his passengers. Sack lunch was delicious. Cruise was also lovely and it was a small ship. We had plenty of room to sit inside or up on deck.
