Our tours are led by our famously enthusiastic tour guides, known for bringing your journey to life with their stories and extensive knowledge. Travel in modern, comfortable minibuses equipped with extras to ensure your comfort and safety.
- Children aged 7 years and below are required to travel in a child safety car seat. You can provide your own or one can be provided for $20 NZD (with 24 hours notice).
- Milford Sound helicopter tour is very dependent on the weather. The decision to fly is made by our Heli tour partner on the day.
- If the flight does not take place, you will remain with the main tour group in your vehicle and be refunded the helicopter portion of your day tour ticket immediately.
- Fiordland weather is very changeable, and while it may seem sunny and fine in Milford Sound, the mountain ranges create their own systems of weather & wind that pilots must consider. Safety is our first priority!
- The return helicopter flight requires a minimum of 3 people to fly. We join with other tours to do our best to make the flight travel and most of the time this occurs.
- Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair.
