Glow worms - Great tour of the glowworms caves. Great guides with experience knowledge and safety. Very interesting in the back of the cave went all the lights are turned out really need experience.

Te Anau glow worm cave tour. - I have been to a few caves and this one was very different to the others I have visited. It was amazing to have a river flowing under us and there was even an amazing waterfall inside. The glow worm part of the tour was an added bonus and was very special. The boat trip across the lake was also beautiful!

Great tour - Great trip with RealNZ to see glow worms. Well-run and informative. Went with kids aged 5 and 8, they were perfectly fine with staying quiet/silent when observing the glowworms, but keep this in mind if you are going with younger children who might struggle with this!

Magical underground starry sky - Exploring the Te Ananu Glowworm Caves was an enchanting experience. The shimmering glowworms created a magical underground starry sky, making the boat ride through the caves unforgettable.

Amazing cave experience - The glow worm caves were amazing. During our boat ride to the caves our tour guide provided interesting facts about Lake Te Anau. We entered the caves in small groups with a tour guide providing details on the caves themselves and the glow worms. The highlight being the barge ride in the dark to view the little glow worms.

Incredible experience! - This is an absolute must! No words can describe how beautiful the caves and glow worms are! It was just incredible and super fun! Getting there was part of the excitement and the little boat to navigate through the cave was awesome!

Wonderfully calm boat... - Wonderfully calm boat ride over to the island. Comfortable setting with toilets on board. Crew were friendly and knowledgeable. On the island, our guide was awesome!! Bright, knowledgeable, kind, funny and entertaining. Amused us when he pointed out how tall my friend was and the extra pointing out he'd have to do to make sure my friend didn't hit his head in the cave. There was a great amount of hand rails throughout the caves which was handy for those with knee/ankle issues. I thoroughly enjoyed the waterfall, and it was great to see that our guide backed up his claim of the water being safe to drink... with taking a drink himself!! The boat IN the cave was next level. The glow worms were spectacular and overall had such a great experience! Would definitely be back with another group of friends 😁

Tiny Glowing Insect - Next experience especially when I'm the dark cave. The briefing session on the life of glow worm was great.

Dont waste your money. - Do not waste your money. You cant take photos. Such a waste of time and effort. The only good part of it was the talk at the end of the tour while you are drinking a not so great cup of hot chocolate. The talk was fantasic and learnt a lot but still not worth it.
