#1 Trip in fuerteventura! - If you are reading this reveiw to decide whether to book this is trip stop reading now and just book it! We went as a family with our 6 year old daughter and we were blown away by the magic in the night sky. Karen is incredibly knowledgeable and the things we were able to see were literally out of this world. The clarity of Jupiter and some of its moons, Saturn and its rings and sooo much more were breathtaking. You do not want to miss out in this when you visit fuerteventura. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did! ** side note; really do make sure you wrap up warm in the beautiful open space it does get chilly.

A great educational experience - Learnt a lot. Our lead guide quickly and frequently adapted her presentation to allow for unpredicted cloud cover. The telescopes were frequently moved to allow attendees to view multiple planets and constellations. Stars were clear and bright and the backdrop of the sea added to the charm. Not suitable for people with mobility issues. Group a little too big but having 2 telescopes enabled everyone to see each focus at least once. Maybe provide a hot drink at the end before everyone departed.

Moving, Magical and Brilliant - This was the most magical trip I have taken - from the remote location in an old goat farm stone circle to the beautiful night sky without light pollution and our super experienced guide, Karen, this was a truly memorable and moving trip. Karen’s knowledge and passion of the island, working and acting sustainably and ethically, and her knowledge of the night sky was second to none. On our observation we observed planets, constellations and learnt about the different phases of a stars ‘life’, each time with Karen pointing out notable features and patiently explaining the sky in full. This experience was worth every penny and I will be doing it all again when I visit the island later this year.

Planets, The moon and Fireballs - What an amazing night. Karen our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable about the area, conservation and activities in the sky. Due to the moon’s light the stars weren’t as visible but we still got an amazing view in the telescope of Venus, Saturn, Jupiter and Mars. The Moon was mind blowing and took my breath away. We also saw shooting stars and an enormous bright fire ball. Would highly recommend and would definitely do again.

the experience in the eyes of a resident of the island - What an experience, in the framework of the Atalayita so incredible... the guide made us see the firmament in another way and everything super enjoyable. I'm glad I saw my island with different eyes

Magic starlight - This excursion is so special. I haven't done anything like that before. The organization is so well done. Due to the weather my original tour had to be postponed and the location changed (Los Molinos instead of the dunes of Corralejo). Now I would love to do Los Molinos again at a different time of the year and the dunes also still :) Karen is a gift as host and guide. She can really switch a light on if you want this. Thus, I cannot rate this tour high enough as it really comforted me in a very special way. Tip: plan it at the beginning of your holiday, so if the weather plays tricks, there is plenty of time for you to get re-scheduled. You wouldn't want to miss it!

Amazing evening, great sky, Karen was a great guide. Highly recommend - An excellent evening with Karen (and Peter). Both really knowledgable, very friendly, informative, well organised. The location is perfect - sheltered from any wind & hearing the sound of the sea as you stargaze - in our case, seeing the Milky Way, spotting the Comet, North Star, Pluto + rings and moon, Cassiopeia, Seven Sisters and some shooting stars. The sky is great with no light pollution. The telescope is really powerful and access is shared well within the group. We drove to the rendevouz spot independently and this worked really well. And the photos sent to you afterwards are an excellent added bonus. It was well worth the money. Great value. We would highly recommend and we will probably do it all again next time we visit.

A view to remember - This was a brilliant trip and for me, the best thing we did on holiday. We were lucky to see the 80,000 year comet, the Milky Way and Saturn among other things. Karen was a very knowledgeable guide and shared the information and stories with great enthusiasm.

OUT OF THIS WORLD ! - Just going back over some photos taken from our holiday. The @highlight was our Stargazing Tour. An Amazing evening was given to us by Karen from Stars by Night Fuerteventura . We we're taken up to a 300 year old stone circle in Los Molinos. The island has a UNESCO Starlight Reserve Status. When we got out of the minibus we we're greeted with more stars than I had ever seen. With Zero light pollution on the West Coast and a slither from the new moon the conditions were perfect to humble us into insignificance under the vast Universe. Until you have looked up in a perfectly dark sky do you really not understand the magnitude of the heavens. Thanks to Karen for pointing out the different constellations such as Cassoppeia, Andromeda and Pegasus as well as Venus and Saturn all with the naked eye. She had a vast knowledge of astronomy and how the stars were interpreted in different cultures as well as a deep passion for protecting the earth and the treasures it holds. We saw 3 shooting stars as well as something unexplainable .... maybe a ufo, who knows. Actually seeing Saturn and her rings in the telescope actually made me feel quite emotional. In the first photo we are standing beneath one of the arms of the Milky Way (we saw 3!!) With a rug and a warm blanket, we spent an evening quite out of this world, while viewing many others. If you fancy something a bit different I urge you to go along and feel the awe of this Magestic display with just the sound of the crashing waves in the distance. I will always now remember 'without the darkness, there is no light' Keep looking up!
