Tegalalang Rice Fields near Ubud, where Subak (a traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system) is practiced. According to local history, Subak was passed down by a revered holy man named Rsi Markandeya in the eighth century. Admire the view from here that spreads out to the rice terraces on the slopes across the valley. -
Ubud Traditional Art Market - Ubud Traditional Art Market where the existence is not far different from other markets available in the tourism area. This market is a society economics center of Ubud and it is opposite to the existence of the Ubud Empire that is called Puri Saren. The market is unfolding from west to easterly divided into two groups with different purposes. There are two markets available at the same area those are one block at the Westside is for a traditional artistic market and another block located in the east as an everyday traditional fundamental market requirement. This market is open every day from about 08:00 until 18:00, even some of them are still open until nighttime. While the traditional market for the fundamental requirement is open everyday at 06:00 - even before that there is a morning market that starts at 04:00 in the morning.

Elephant Cave - The Elephant Cave Temple of Goa Gajah dates as far back as the 11th century. Built on a hillside where two streams met to form a river junction, the site was deemed sacred and the temple was built for prayer and enclosed meditation.
Goa Gajah is carved into a rock face and you enter through the cavernous mouth of a demon. Inside the T-shaped cave you can see fragmentary remains of the lingam, the phallic symbol of the Hindu god Shiva.
- Suwat Waterfall - The path down to the waterfall is very easy and takes you through a small bamboo forest and other tropical foliage along the way.
At the bottom, you’ll see some cool rock carvings and a big natural pool with a 20-meter waterfall at the back. It has a bamboo raft made by the locals, and there’s even a cave to explore behind the falls.
At the moment, Suwat Waterfall (also known by its Indonesian name Air Terjun Suwat) is basically unknown to foreign tourists, and I wasn’t able to find it on any English blogs on the internet! We only saw a small handful of locals there when we went.
It’s a nice little waterfall and I think it will undoubtedly become popular and crowded before long, just like what happened with the Kanto Lampo and Tibumana waterfalls.
