Tel Aviv 10KM Tour - Moy is knowledgeable, fun, and a great running coach and guide. We ran my first morning in Tel Aviv, and it was a great overview of the city and Israel. I highly recommend this tour.

A great way to start the day and to see the sites of Tel Aviv - Five stars for the Fun Runs running guide Moy! Moy was great running tour guide. On the 10km tour, we covered Jaffa, Florentine, Nevetzedek and the Tel Aviv waterfront. He has great local knowledge and will happily explain the history to you as you run and visit the sites. The run can be as quick or relaxed as you like. Moy also happens to be a running coach so he can also keep up with more seasoned runners. Moy will happily share with you any recommendations for the rest of your day in Tel Aviv. Super helpful.

Great way to start our trip to Tel-Aviv - We met Moy our first evening in Tel-Aviv for the 10k highlights run. It was a lot of fun and a great way to get an overview of the city in a relatively short amount of time. Moy explained everything about the history of Tel-Aviv and showed us both the old and new parts of the city. It is a great thing to do when you first arrive so that you can get the lay of the land and know where you want to go back and explore in depth. He brought along drinks and snacks for us and we had the opportunity to make pit stops along the way. We highly recommend it as a healthy and fun way to see the city.

Great run! Definietly worthwhile! - My friend and I had the pleasure of the 5 km. tour of Old Yafo in Tel Aviv by Moy. We really enjoyed the run!! It was very interesting to hear all the stories about the area, the route itself nice and the level of exercise was relatively easy, so that all types of people can join his trips. Moy brought cold water, was very kind and helpful and was good at taking pictures for us - for our own photo album ;) We would definitely recommend doing this whenever you are in Tel Aviv.

Great way to see Tel Aviv! - On a trip for work and didn't have much time to explore. Moy was easy to get in touch with so I set up an early morning Tel Aviv Highlights tour before work. It was a great tour, really got to know the city a bit, and got a bit of a Run in! Moy is great and took tons of photos for me, very knowledgeable, and even hand delivered a nice shirt to me at work after the run. Thanks for a great time Moy!

Sporty alternative to a free walking tour - We enjoyed our running tour through Tel Aviv so much! Moy led us through the city and explained a lot about its history. On top of that, he was very attentive to our pace. We ran more or less 13 kms in total, but I am sure Moy can adapt this tour according to needs/fitness. The only thing that could make this tour better is a small break in the middle where you can buy some small snack.

A definite must for anyone active visiting Israel - Moy the guide is superb! - I did the Tel Aviv Highlights tour with Moy from Fun Runs Israel. Moy offers 4 tours in this city with a very interesting history. Moy himself is a fantastic tour guide; he is a vat of information, clearly loves both running and history and is a lovely and interesting guy. I’d never been able to venture this far due to previously short layovers so I didn’t know what to expect but I found the city beautifully eclectic, culturally varied and safe. It is a real mix of very old buildings and new futuristic high rise towers. I learnt that Tel Aviv was a newer and more carefully planned suburb to ancient Jaffa. When Jaffa became overpopulated homes were built with a kitchen and bathroom and the streets made more straight unlike those in Jaffa! As a result Tel Aviv has overtaken it in size and the two have merged into TelAviv-Yafo. We met at the old train station which has been converted into a lovely marketplace and we ran through the first neighbourhood of Tel Aviv, Neve Tzedek, which has dipped in and out of popularity over time; now a highly sought after creative area with a lot of building conversions such as the previous boy and girl schools now dance studios. We ran past many gorgeous buildings and through some pretty boulevards. We also stopped at a number of “”purely functional” looking buildings (as Moy put it!) that were highly important in Tel Avivs history. These included: the home of Me'ir Dizengoff the first mayor of Tel Aviv, which is also the location that David Ben Gurion, the first Prime Minister of Israel (who likes to stand on his head) read the declaration of independence in 1948 and also a kiosk that was the first shop here. We also went to Rabin square where Yitzhak Rabin, the prime minister who who was striving for peace, was sadly shot in 1995. This square has a shallow pool which is jumped in by locals during major events such as winning sporting events and the Eurovision! Moy told me that as well as running reading is popular here. There were free libraries dotted around and there is a week every year where there is 30% off books and Israelis stock up for the year! There are many great running routes in the city and when we reached the coastline we were joined by hundreds of other runners. I could go on as I leant so much from Moy but I don’t want to ruin his tour! Thank you so much Moy I hope to be back soon to do your tour of Jaffa!
