Highlights
- Gombori Pass - The scenic route to Kakheti goes through the Gombori Pass (2 hours, 100 km).
- Vazisubani - We will visit the Kbilashvili Winery and a family in Vardisubani village that makes qvevri, traditional Georgian clay vessels for storing wine. The cost is $8 per person.
- Telavi - Proceed to Telavi, the administrative and historical center of the region.
- Shumi Winery - You will tour the local wine museum and production facilities. The optional lunch costs $7 and includes premium Shumi wines. Must be 18 or older to consume alcohol.
- Sighnaghi - The next stop is Sighnaghi, known as the city of love and the Royal Town, a historic crossroads of the Great Silk Road, surrounded by defensive walls with 23 towers.
- Tbilisi - The return trip to Tbilisi covers 120 km and takes approximately 2 hours.
