Triple whale breach - We were a small group of 5 and our guide Tobin. Tobin was awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable. We spotted some whale action early off and decided to go check it out as a group. We were all very glad we did when we ended up coming about 20-30 feet away from some whales that breached beside us. Best tour ever! Once in a lifetime experience! Would go back again in a heartbeat and recommend. Thanks again to Tobin for a great job.

Top 10 life experience - We had lowered expectations after our guide told us it was his second day in Telegraph cove. After watching sea lions, a bald eagle and seeing humpbacks blow from far across the straight, our guide Tobin used his underwater microphone contraption to listen to a single orca which shortly after swam by. Content with having seen an orca and having had a lively paddle, We started to make our way back to the coe. Before we knew it that single orca was followed b 2 separate pods of orcas that my son swears were “coming right at us”. To see 15 of 205 known Northen resident orcas with a guide on his second day during a 2 hour tour was truly a top 10 experience for every member of our family. Our teenagers are not huge fans of being outside doing physical activity but they exclaimed it was a thrilling experience it was and how enthusiastic our guide ( Tobin, who we now follow on instagram) was.

Fun easy way to see wildlife up close - My friend and I went on this kayaking tour in the morning, with a family of 4 in two other kayaks. Our guide Jesse explained all we needed to know and we all took off at a relaxed pace. The weather was calm and slightly overcast. We stayed close to shore and ducked into small bays and behind small islands. We saw lots of wildlife including a seal and her pup, an eagle that let us get up to less than 5 m of it before flying off, and small sea birds called Turnstones (thanks to Jesse's knowledge). We even saw a mink! It appeared that all the wildlife saw us as no threat as we were out on the water and low down. If we had been walking on shore, I'm sure we would have scared them away sooner. This was a fun experience and a great way to see wildlife up close. It was nice to get a bit of exercise too.

Two-hour kayak paddle. - One of the highlights of our island adventure was the two-hour kayak paddle in Telegraph Cove — with Connor as our guide. We appreciated his easygoing, calm demeanour; his knowledge of local history, flora and fauna; but especially the land acknowledgement and discussion on the impacts of colonization. We spotted a starfish, jellyfish, eagle, seal, and otter, and meandered along at a pace conducive to conversation and contemplation. Highly recommended.

Once in a lifetime “touched by nature” experience! - What a magical breath taking experience! Hearing a Humpback in the distance was one of the most moving nature moments in my life! Then when a whimsical, friendly sea otter popped up next to my kayak and back floated along with us for a good while- I was smitten! Seeing and hearing a bald eagle calling from the top of an evergreen along the forested shore- I felt “touched by nature”! Even if there were not any wildlife on this excursion, the tranquility and unbelievable iconic scenery was enough to leave me mesmerized. As for the logistics- the crew was very friendly, helpful and instructive all along the way. I felt confident and comfortable by the time I pulled away from the shoreline. (And I have a deep water phobia, so this is saying a lot for me to not let the thought of deep water steal my once in a lifetime experience!) I was too enchanted by my surroundings to think about any deep water phobias :) Great job to the crew!

Deception - Only 1h20 on the water instead of the 2h planned, no explanation on anything by the guide, we could have done this on our own.
