Fantastic Kayaking Trip - We had a phenomenal kayaking trip with Tobin. He was a really engaging guide who had a huge range of facts and information to share while guiding us through some lovely coastline. We were lucky enough to spot orcas from the kayaks and a sea lion which were incredible!

Wonderful experience - Despite rainy weather we had a great halfday kayak trip with Georgia who showed and explained to us a lot of wildlife from very close, including sea lions, bald eagles, seals, a sea otter and a harbour porpoise. We also saw a humpback whale breach from far. We felt safe all the time in the kayak. When we got cold because of the rain we had a break and time enough to put on warmer clothes And thanks to Georgia's advice where to look for we saw even a black bear crossing the road on the next day.

Spectacular day kayaking with orcas - Bret was awesome! We hoped for orcas and our expectations were blown out of the water! We saw all sorts of wildlife, and although this is not in Bret’s control-he navigated us the best route that was a safe distance. Bret is very informative and personable and we enjoyed such a lovely day with him! Definitely recommend this tour. :)

Awesome killer whale encounter - We enjoyed a wonderful 4 hours kayaking trip under the skillful guidance of Georgie who did an excellent job! We ended up in an encounter with a group of 8 killer whales including 2 baby orcas. They were less than 100 metres away from us sitting in the kayak… amazing! Georgie kept us at eaze, while we at first wanted to peddle away quickly 😄. She also explained all about the wildlife, plants and history of the environment, truly a job well done 👊🏻😃

Favourite day of our holidays! - We went for a half day kayaking tour with the guide Luca, who explained everything so beautifully. There were seals, a sea lion, pretty little jelly fish and even a harbour porpoise! The kayak is easy to handle and Luca helped us with everything.

Amazing way to experience the Johnstone Inlet. Thank you Bree for your expertise! - Bree was my guide, She shared so rich knowledge of the area and the indigenous people. She made my kayaking trip so delightful. She also took time to throughly explain the kayak and how to safely enjoy the experience. I would love to go with her on a 5-7 day back country kayaking trip in the future. Thank you Bree for making my adventure so memorable. All the best to you.

Best way to see nature. - My husband and I took a half day kayaking tour with North Island Kayak. Our guide was Georgia and she was great! After a quick yet thorough safety and equipment demonstration, we hit the beautiful waters of Johnstone Strait. Georgia was very knowledgeable about the geography and geology of the area. We really enjoyed how she explained unique things about area, and the culture of the native peoples. We were lucky and saw a sea otter, a seal and her pup, as well as many eagles and jumping salmon and herring. I would highly recommend this kayaking trip. The coast is beautiful and the water was calm.
