Truly outstanding - Kirsty and I visited Hoo Zoo, Kayleigh was an awesome keeper and guide and extremely knowledgeable.we had meerkats and ring-tailed lemurs climb all over us, Duma the serval wasn't too grumpy despite a starve day, we were lucky enough to see Thor and Cinnamon was home. Will and Becky however had escaped for a few days but they didn't make world news with their escape!!!! A brilliant attraction with many species you don't normally see like Binturong and a Rusty Spotted Cat. We will definitely be back to visit keep up your good work and efforts in caring for your animals and please reward Kayleigh for making our day special.

Meerkat Experience - Had a brilliant time at the Meerkat Experience, it was a present bought by a friend of my wife for her birthday and it didn’t disappoint. Great time with the meerkats and had a look round the cats at the zoo, planning on going back next year

Lemur Experience and Zoo - I bought a zoo experience for the Lemurs and had a fantastic time. The zoo had lots to look at and was very informative. I would definitely recommend this to friends with or without children

Carnivore Experience for 2 - The Carnivore Experience for 2 was incredible. We had Sarah as our guide and she was friendly and very knowledgeable about all the animals we were able to see. One person was able to come along as a spectator on the Experience and still had a fantastic time. The Zoo itself was a nice change from the normal zoo animals. It was amazing to be able to get so close to the wolves! Will definitely return.

Amazing team! - My girlfriend and I went to Hoo Zoo for the meerkat and lemur feeding experience. We were greeted with a friendly member of staff (I believe her name was Emma) which set our visit off perfectly. The keeper on our experience was Sarah and she was fantastic. Giving us lots of time with the animals and also explaining lots about them. After the experience we stayed at the zoo for a couple of hours - being able to see Racoons and Bingturongs was a real highlight. The resident cats that roam the zoo also give Hoo a really wholesome feeling.

Carnivore experience - We did the carnivore experience and it was really interesting and informative. The member of staff that took us round to meet the animals was very knowledgeable and personable and answered everyone’s questions Although the hour went really quickly, we met loads of interesting animals The on site facilities were also excellent. We spent an hour after our experience before the zoo closed visiting some of the other animals. A great family day out

This place is amazing. - We had a great time and Kayleigh was fantastic. We were hugely surprised at the size of Hoo Farm! We wish we had more time to walk around, but we'll be back. The animals are clearly very happy and well looked after. Thanks to all the team, from start to finish.

We had Awoooooo-nderful time 🐺 - I took my sister to Hoo Zoo for the wolf experience as a birthday gift. We were able to meet and feed Arctic foxes, red foxes and wolves. Sarah was a wonderful guide. She was passionate and knowledgeable, but also brilliant with my sister’s partner’s 14 year old boy who has autism. The zoo itself is quite small but appears to be very well looked after with lovely enclosures and a small cafe serving hot food.

Zoo Visit and Carnivore Combo - Visiting the area from Kent, as we had booked ourselves a zoo experience at 3pm. We had expected the zoo to be very small, looking at the map, and ourselves to be left with hours to spare before our experience, even more so as we moved our experience back an hour to help the staff. We were happy to do so, as from the first first impression upon welcoming us, we could tell it's run by an incredibly friendly and hardworking team. In terms of the zoo itself, I'm delighted to say it surpassed all expectations. At a leisurely space it took us a few hours to take everything in, following the helpful signage all over the park. Anyone visiting with children or elderly family could easily make a while day of it. On that note, children would love the play areas and I found myself rediscovering my inner child at the excellent dinosaurs and megafauna, complete with movement and sound! As a adult, I loved being greeted into the park by a Spinosaurus, children will surely find it magical! One thing that really stood out to me was the parks incredible efforts towards accessibility. EVERYWHERE I imagine is wheelchair accessible, no stairs or steep slopes in sight. Hoo's efforts to go above and beyond with welcoming all disabilities is evident by their engagement with Kulture City, a leading non-profit in aid of sensory accessibility. There are signs warning some patrons to put their headphones on in noisier sections, and there's even a lovely quiet zone for the overwhelmed to recuperate, adorned with lovely wall art and information boards to read. The information around the park was well displayed and easy to read, and I thoroughly recommend using the app to enhance your visit. It contains information on all the animals, and you can use it to track your location in the zoo as well. It also gives the times of any keeper talks on the animals throughout the day. Thanks to the app I was able to learn the names of the cute resident cats which roam around the visitor centre (and unsurprisingly, the tearoom) My dad and I helped ourselves to a generous portion of chips, and I happy to report they don't skimp on the curry sauce here (a small detail, but much appreciated) ;) The experience itself was wonderful, we got to visit the aptly named Specsavers the Spectacled Owl, the foxes (my favourite), a serval and a snake as well. Kayleigh was our guide and she was very knowledgeable as well as having a good sense of humour and kind demeanour, big thanks to her! Our visit took us to closing time, and we left incredibly impressed. A place clearly well designed with families in mind, but a place I'd wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.
