Worth every penny......... - After a couple of hiccups with the booking, this was a great way to finish our week in Gran Canaria. Alan the tour guide was so welcoming and humorous as well as constantly imparting little nuggets of local information which you would have missed out on by driving yourselves. Throughly recommend this trip and have already done so to other guests in the hotel. Trip advisor were very helpful in rescheduling the dates

A great way to see authentic Gran Canaria - Just enjoyed a good day out on this trip. We were picked up by a lady driver, who was very informative and helpful throughout the day, and taken to a meeting point where we met 3 other minibuses. Alan, the commentator, communicated to us all via a walkie talkie and he was also extremely informative and humorous throughout the day. We stopped at an Aloe Vera Farm but absolutely no pressure at all to buy anything. Then onto Teror where we had free time and a very pretty place. Then lunch at an assigned restaurant where we were served lovely tapas style food and all diets were provided for. Then onto Tejeda where we had more free time and another pretty place. Then a photo stop on the way back. Very steep mountain driving, both up and down, and handled very well by all the competent drivers. Really enjoyed this trip and would recommend it to anyone wishing to see authentic parts of Gran Canaria. We were advised we may need warmer clothing with so many different climates throughout the day but we were very lucky today and the weather was very scorchio up there!!

To visit - Three villages to see. Because there is not much else to see except on the island. Few beautiful landscapes and winding roads to access the vegetation which is pretty (Roque Nuevo) for example

Quick Stop Highlights - A quick stop highlight tour to some of the pretty towns in the interior of the island. You don't get a lot of time to explore, but great for snapping some photos in the places that you visit. Most of the time is spent traveling via the minibus, which is air conditioned and comfy. The driver (Jesus) and tour guide (Alan) were fab and made things interesting while travelling from place to place with lots of knowledge about the island. I would advise other travellers that the roads are winding with lots of sharp bends and inclines. One of the passengers didn't feel very well towards the end, but this can't be helped as it's just the route the trip takes. So anyone who is a little uneasy with motion sickness may want to take travel sickness tablets. I'd love to have stayed a little longer in some of the places, but all in all really enjoyed the trip.

Full of interesting... - Full of interesting information. Comfortable minibus, nicely organised time, experienced driver! Beautiful lunch with a good English speaking and friendly staff. Teror and Tejeda were both great authentic places to visit.

Mixed feelings - Our pick was 20 minutes late. Then went to join up with 2 other minibuses . Also to link up the radio commentary . Alan in bus 1 radioed to the other busses which wasn’t good especially not on the motorway. Long journey to first stop which was lovely Another 45 minutes drive to second stop again lovely Quick photo stop before lunch which wasn’t until 2pm Lunch was ok Quick stop at Aloe Vera plantation then back to hotels Too much time on bus. Lunch too late. Nice to drive around the island and Miguel was an excellent driver

Not great but ok - The Tour started late, we had to wait for the tour guide and a minibus from another hotel, Alan our guide communicated via a walkie talkie as there was three coaches in the tour, not the best sound quality, the first hour was a motorway run to the north which consisted of Alan describing every shop, supermarket and industrial complex on route, I may as well have had a tour of Lakeside in Essex, he really missed an opportunity to cover the history of the island while heading towards the more real island part of the tour. The rest of the tour was fine except for the regular poke at tourism ruining the traditional lifestyle. The food stop was ok although by 2pm we would have eaten a roadkill donkey! And the Aloe Vera stop was educational if a bit of a sales pitch for very expensive creams and potions!

Horrible tour not as advertised. - The tour is not advertised well. It’s a steep mountain drive, loads of winding roads with a driver who speeds and a guide who tells things only during the drive. You cannot hear the guide over the driving. Where we sat in the bus had no clear views due to only a small window view, so we couldn’t see anyways. Our stops were very short in comparison to gfs tine to drive. We only had 30 minutes in 2 stops, a lunch that was probably an hour and a visit to an aloe Vera farm which was more for selling products. The driving was about 4-5 hours. The driver went way over the speed limits and overtook on narrow, steep roads going up and down the mountains. There was no possibility to enjoy the “scenic” view that was advertised. The lunch was in a village that we did not get to see at all. So, a nauseous and scary tour of mountain tops with short, unguided village visits. If we had known how it would be really, I would not have booked this. I thought we would have a relaxing and nice tour, not one that left us feeling sick the rest of our night. I really want a refund.

Not a pleasent experiance - and never to be repeated - We did this trip - for the money and low quality of service it was interesting but very poor value for money. I do not recommend. Issues :- 1) The pickup was 25 mins late - with no explanation or apology 2) The seats in the minibus are for small people - anyone tall or wide will struggle. I am 6"1 and it was painful. 3) The driving was dangerous - too much going above the speed limit on busy roads 4) The commentary was provided by walkie-talkie. The guy had verbal-diarrhoea and was near impossible to understand over the radio. 5) The guide doing the talking (in another vehicle) was clearly driving whilst using the walkie-talkie - is that legal? Certainly dangerous! 6) The lunch was quite simply awful. I have had much better school dinners. There were many people did not eat the main course. The starter of cheese, bread potatoes, whilst very simple, was nice. I suggest avoid.
