Comprehensive - Jesus was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain things at Guachimontones. He showed us around other sites, local restaurants and shops. Good driver and excellent company.

Guachimontones Walking Tour - This was an awesome trip! They pick you up from your stay which makes it very convenient. Our tour guide Mauricio was so knowledgeable and accommodating. He knew about the City of Guadalajara and the archeological site of Guachimontones from start to finish. You drive thru the town of Teuchitlán first to get to to the archeological site. There you park and walk up this hill to the ruins. It's a fascinating and very naturistic walk. Mauricio was able to explain each ruins in detail. Then after the ruins you walk over to the museum to see all the artifacts Mexico has collected over the years to display in detail even with an excavated mummy. After the musuem you go into the town of Teuchitlán and walk around then eat. What a great trip. I will totally book with Viator again.

Unforgettable - There was a slight hiccup on our tour. The location was closed for the day I reserved, but they hadn’t notified our tour guide, Jesus. Our Tour guide was so amazing that he improvised and took us elsewhere. Jesus was so well informed and knowledgeable that he was able to tell us the history of the Guachimonotones as we set out on a different path. We tasted indigenous drinks reserved for the high class of the ancient world as well as a trip down a few Tequilerias. The day turned out so amazing that I can’t even be sad I didn’t get to see the circular pyramids. It was an amazing day that I will never forget. Book this trip, what’s on schedule is amazing and if there’s a need to improvise, you’re in store for an adventure.

Wow! Fantastic! Oldest pyramids and ritual sites in the Americas! Who knew? - What we loved? Walking around Guachimontones, experiencing the ambiance of the pyramid and imagining its plaza packed with dancing people. That was based on a solid foundation of knowledge provided by our guide, Jesus Salas, and by the on-site museum. It all worked. We loved, too, having lunch in the restaurant on the lakeshore, with white egrets and pelicans as close as four meters away. That was due to our guide's choice of restaurant, and his working with the staff to get us vegans and adventurers the best meal we had on our whole vacation. Jesus was personable, skilled, friendly, and genuinely enthusiastic about Guachimontones. The site itself was hugely impressive, its energies still discernable. Altogether a great day and a terrific value.

Perfect tour for a small group not looking to pair Guachimontones with Tequila. - Renzo was very accommodating and friendly. He made a last minute adjustment to the pick-up location that was very appreciated. Our tour guide, Efren, was very informative and answered all of our questions. He really painted a picture of the site and made the experience interactive. We had two English-only speakers in our group and he seamlessly switched between English and Spanish as needed.

Excellent - My experience on the Guachimontones tour was exceptional. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared fascinating details about the history and culture of the area. The ruins of Guachimontones are truly impressive, and the tour of the Teuchitlán museum added an extra layer of understanding. Additionally, the stop at the local restaurant to try frog legs was an unexpected delight. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an enriching and authentic experience in Jalisco. Don't miss out!
