Wonderful hiking experience! - Wonderful hiking experience! The Mweni mountains were breathtaking and the organization was excellent. Patrick is a great guide and left no wish unfulfilled: great equipment, wonderful hiking route, delicious food and a positive vibe within the group. He also magically managed that after a full day and night of rain we could enjoy the most beautiful sunrise in the best weather the next morning. Everything went smoothly from booking till the end of the hike. We had a wonderful time disconnecting and enjoying the nature. Thank you!

Mnweni. Quintessential Drakensberg made easier with Soul Adventures - Soul Adventures and specifically Patrick are simply amazing. They make hiking the Drakensberg so much easier, and accessible to anyone- even those without the camping gear. Their turnkey approach ( at no extra expense) offers everything from tents, backpacks, and sleeping bags right up to delicious warm food at the start and the end of each day. The most surprising being a choice of Hot chocolate, Tea, Fresh French press coffee AND fresh milk. Honestly!? Truley Glamping in the Drakensberg... Patrick somehow manages to carry all of the gear and bits and pieces without breaking a sweat. Soul Adventures and Patrick make the entire experience seamless and easy, it is bordering on cheating. Outside of their catering skills, they seem to have struck the perfect balance of light-heartedness, fun, and knowledge all carefully stitched together with the requisite skill and safety backed up by their mountain qualifications. Patrick must be the only guide who takes a rope up to the Chain Ladders for Justin. Ive now been on three hikes with Soul Adventures, each somehow more impressive than the last. The most recent through the Mnweni Valley. Mnweni is Picture perfect. Breathtakingly beautiful and highly recommended.

The perfect escape from the city - All my Drakensberg hikes have been with Soul Adventures and it’s been a great experience. Patrick’s jokes never get old 😂. I love a challenge so I booked 2 hikes back to back over 5 days and it’s one of the best things I’ve done for myself this year. If you have the time I’d recommend this, it’s the best way to disconnect and recharge! Did I mention Patricia the cook and barista? He’ll even carry your bag for you if you carry his!

Special Mountain Experience - I went on a 3 days guided hike (Mnweni Drakensberg) in May 2021. As an avid hiker, I had high expectations regarding this tour and I need to say that these were exceeded for sure. It was particularly for the mountain guides that made this experience memorable. A must for even the non-hiker! - I'm not a hiker by no means and this trip showed me that all you need is guts, a humour and the ability to go 3 days with the basic necessities. The people and guides on the hike made the trip, you get to meet some amazing like minded people. The hike itself was tough for me because I am afraid of heights, but I managed to almost summit and I am still very satisfied with my result. It's a journey of self growth - I would highly recommend it. Tip: Pack tuna for dinner time!

Awesome Cathedral Peak hike. - The whole experience was amazing beyond words! The Soul Adventure team was very friendly and helpful. The views around you is simply beautiful. I cannot wait for my next hike in September with the team! Hope we get some Rasta Pasta again (the food was pretty good!).

Enjoy the Drakensberg in all its beauty - Never thought I would ever hike the Drakensberg, but doing it with Darren was one of the most amazing experiences. The Mnweni hike was tough, but the spectacular views and Darren's all round positive and easy going nature made it so much easier!
