Anthong National Park - This is a nice laid back tour if you want to see the islands in the national park. The trip to the park is far and the travel time long but the scenery along the way is worth it. The hike to the viewpoint at Emerald lake was great and then you can cool off at the beach. The next viewpoint was also amazing and you can see all the islands from there and then just enjoy some time in the ocean. A light breakfast was provided as well as lunch. Overall a nice chilled out trip

Awesome Angthong Adventure - We had a fantastic day out on the Angthong large boat tour. Weather was mixed but that didn’t matter, we still enjoyed everything about it. We were picked up from the hotel and taken to the pier. Then a relaxing boat ride to the marine park enabled us to chat to other travellers. Lots of free food and drink provided throughout the day. We snorkelled and kayaked and climbed the steep hill to the view point overlooking this stunning area and the steep steps to view the lagoon. The staff were very helpful and kind helping everyone on and off the boats. We all had a wonderful day. Well worth the money for a full day tour.

Fantastic Day - It was such a great day. Organized very well. The guys working were so kind and hard working. It rained a little bit, but the boat is so accommodating, and even with a little rain it was my favorite day of vacation yet!

Average but nice - Generally good trip! Food was good! However, boat is overcrowded and the second beach with tour to the emirald lake did not have showers nor enough space to properly lay in the shade! If your not a big fan of kayaking in 35 degrees heat i recommend not doing it.you have to go both ways.

10 hour trip, 6 hours traveling - 45 minutes to the ferry followed by a 2 hour boat trip. Before we got to the island we were told the water was too murky for snorkeling!! For the kayaking we followed the guide but he disappeared ahead of us, not sure what would happen if some of the last kayaks got in trouble. When we got back we only had 1 hour and 15 minutes to swim and climb up the mountain to see the view, 30 minutes up 30 minutes down. It’s a very difficult 30 minute ascent but the views are amazing. Food and snacks were plentiful but of average quality. Then on to the next island to be told we couldn’t swim there had to climb up again only to look a lagoon. Then a 2 hour ferry and a 45 bus ride. Very tiring for very little. Well organized though.

Be vigilant of your belongings at the National Park - our money was stolen by the staff there - Very average, no snorkelling possible due to low tide but then this would have been known so the price could have been adjusted. Not enough time was allowed for the 500meter climb as the weather wasn’t great so we could only manage 200 meters. I had some money stolen from my bag during kayaking when we left our bags at the National park so be very aware!

Habibi, it’s 50/50 - I am pleased to share with you my impressions after a recent maritime expedition in the majestic Ko Samui National Park. Our journey, which was intended to be an enchanting getaway to discover the region's famous islands, was both enchanting and disappointing. To our great amazement, the islets that punctuate these crystal clear waters stood like jewels scattered by a cosmic goldsmith. The boat trip, however, was a long four-hour journey in total, belying the initial promise of a 45-minute crossing. A prolonged wait which, I must confess, detracted from our patience. The meal served on board, although modestly advertised, was a disappointment to refined palates and an offense to the delicacy of the vegetarians among us, whose expectations deserve ample consideration. As for the activities proposed, snorkeling proved superfluous. Kayaking, also offered, was a whirlwind adventure, circling around a flimsy rock and leaving a bitter taste at its exorbitant price of 10 euros per head. In retrospect, this cruise proved to be a worthwhile voyage of exploration, despite a substantial proportion of the allotted time being spent on navigation. Habibi, don’t do kayaking.
