Great way to enjoy full moon party when staying in Koh Samui! - Really seamless pick up/drop off. I was a little apprehensive about going this route after reading previous comments but everything went smoothly. Great experience.

Safe & timely transportation. - The Full Moon Party transportation to/from Koh Phangan was really good & timely. I had a seamless transition the hotel shuttle pickup to the boat ride were safe & worthwhile.

Everything great! - Everything worked out great and was very well organized. I had the feeling that we had it best, especially on the return journey. The other companies had very long queues. Luckily we didn't have one :) so we can recommend it!

Once in a lifetime experience, good and well managed tour. - The party itself was a proper bucket list experience. The tour was well managed, pick and drop to hotel was well managed. However, due to the full moon and high tides and bad weather, the speed boat from Koh Samui to Phangnan and back was a near death experience, pitch dark, high and loud waves and boucing boat is not for the faint hearted

This boat trip across to the full moon party was really good! - The communication for the full moon party was appreciated and was very organised, we got a call 5 mins before we got picked up they gave a colour coded queue system to ensure it’s fair. We also went to this during a storm and we were given the opportunity to cancel and revive a refund which was really good! When we arrived for the boat we were told again about the conditions of the sea, when we got on the boat we were given life jackets and it was a bumpy ride but we felt safe. Pick up at the end of the night was good as well we had a 45 min wait and it was smoother on the way home and the transfer back to the hotels as ideal!

Crazy full moon party! We enjoyed so much - Easy and stress free. But shame that i havé to wait 20 minutes for a 3 guys who were late! Otherwise all was fine. Return was ok despite the rain!

Fun experience at the full moon - Overall, great party, great experience, I recommend it. It takes about an hour for the pick up time at the hotel, to leave by boat, the boat left rapidly after the registration, 15-20 min you arrive directly at the pier just next to the beach, you have to pay 200 baht to enter the party, no line up (left at 8pm, would recommend 7pm pick up) make sure you know where you are because you have to come there after the party, you don’t have to decide the hour to come back now, there’s a departure every hour starting 1 am, I left at 5 am, again no wait time, the boat took off right away, when we arrive at Samui pier, a couple of shuttle are waiting for you and you enter in one that go in your area, 30 min later I was at my hotel at sunrise. I would recommend it, they are very well organized, worth it.

Sceptical at first- but well worth it! - Pickup was great, ferry to Ko Phang A was great. Whole evening there was amazing. The ferry home was rough as there were tons of people and not tons of boats back but it was fine and to be expected with the amount of people trying to get back from the island. Transfer back to hotel took ages too but it’s all part of the parcel so to be expected. Overall great way of doing the full moon party.

Chaotic and Unsafe Experience with Golden Moon Travel Company - My recent experience with Golden Moon Travel Company in Koh Samui was nothing short of a nightmare, and alarmingly, this sentiment was echoed by several other travelers I spoke with. The journey began with a major inconvenience when our scheduled bus from Tai Hotel never showed up, forcing our agent to find alternative transport - a problem that seemed to be a common occurrence for this company.Upon arrival at Golden Moon Travel Company, we were greeted by a scene of complete disarray. There was a stark absence of organization and instructions, leaving everyone bewildered and agitated. Despite the confusion, we managed to secure our tickets.The situation deteriorated further as the boats for the Full Moon Party started arriving. Absent any staff guidance, chaotic queues formed everywhere. We joined one line, only to learn later that it was incorrect. The staff, though friendly, were clearly overpowered and insufficient to handle the massive crowds.At the beach, the scenario was even more distressing. People were dangerously crowding onto the boats in a hasty and uncontrolled manner, reminiscent of a desperate evacuation. Concerned for everyone's safety, I sought help from a staff member, only to be met with a lackadaisical response and no effective action.The lack of safety became even more evident when the boats' engines started while people were still dangerously close, pushing against each other in the shallow water. The situation was unnervingly similar to the disastrous Fyre Festival, characterized by a blatant disregard for safety.Due to the severe disorganization and the palpable fear for our safety, many of us, including myself and partner, decided the risk wasn't worth it. We attempted to get a refund but faced the same chaos and lack of support that had marred the entire experience.In conclusion, based on my personal experience and the accounts of others I spoke with, I cannot recommend Golden Moon Travel Company. Their disorganization, poor crowd management, and apparent indifference to customer safety made for an extremely distressing experience. This company urgently needs to reevaluate its operational procedures to ensure the safety and satisfaction of its customers.
