Tapu Island, one of the most well-known spots in Phang Nga Bay, was chosen as a filming location for a James Bond movie, which is how it earned its nickname, “James Bond Island”. Behold the magnificent limestone pillars of Khao Phing Kan, which translates to ‘hills leaning against each other’ in Thai, indicative of the islands’ interconnectedness. Enjoy a canoe ride on the glittering bay waters, exploring limestone caves and mangrove forests. Visit the Muslim fishing community on Koh Panyee, another highlight of this tour. Have lunch at a local restaurant to experience local life. Lastly, visit Suwan Khuha Temple, popularly known as “Monkey Cave Temple”.
