Pheonix Divers- Koh Lanta. Fantastic! - A fantastic experience all round. We dived at Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai. Everything was extremely well organised and professional and everyone in the Pheonix team was very friendly and approachable. Our guide Mark was great- he took his time to go through things with us and made sure that we went at our pace. He also spotted some amazing things for us. Great sites and instructors - Amazing day. Stunning dive sites and incredibly helpful and friendly guides. I had Mark and he was brilliant at watching me and making sure everything is ok. It wasn’t rushed and very nice and well kept dive shop and boat which was very reassuring. Would 100% recommend for any diver of any skill level. I am a beginner (only done 11 dives) and it was amazing and not at all stressful or challenging! Also there is the option of doing 3 dives in a day which is nice and if you decide not to and only do two you can snorkel which was just as amazing!

Amazing Dive! - A special shoutout to our dive guide, Danial, who was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, patient and made the entire experience feel safe and enjoyable. His keen eye for marine life added so much to the dives— we saw the LEOPARD SHARK! 😍 Highly recommend this dive center for both beginners and experienced divers. I’ll definitely be back!

Incredible diving experience! - I discovered Phoenix Divers in Koh Lanta through my Lonely Planet guide, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! Their professionalism, dedication, and expertise truly stood out, making my diving experience unforgettable. From the very beginning, planning my course with Phoenix Divers was a breeze. Their website provided all the information I needed, and any doubts or questions were quickly addressed via WhatsApp—an incredibly convenient and efficient way to communicate. I decided to take the PADI Open Water Course, and I loved every single moment of it. The organization at Phoenix Divers is top-notch, and the entire team goes above and beyond to make you feel safe, comfortable, and welcomed. A big thank you to Ellis, Sally, Daniel, Jessica, Yannis, Giulia, Alice, and the local boat crew, all of whom worked tirelessly to ensure we had the best experience possible. Their kindness, smiles, and genuine care made all the difference. Ellis and Daniel guided me through the initial stages of my course. Ellis was incredibly thorough, explaining everything in detail and ensuring we felt confident and prepared. Daniel was always patient, kind, and ready to assist. He even went out of his way to take photos of us during our dives and send them to us afterward—it was such a thoughtful gesture that added to the experience. For my first dives in the ocean, I was fortunate to be trained by Sally, who is simply an outstanding instructor! I had some difficulties equalizing during my dives, and Sally was so patient, caring, and supportive, helping me overcome those challenges with ease. Her expertise and encouraging nature made me feel capable and excited to dive. I learned so much from her and am deeply grateful for the opportunity to train under her guidance. Even though I wasn’t diving with Jessica, I have to mention how kind and supportive she was throughout my experience. She was always available to answer my questions, reassure me, and make sure I felt at ease. She is not only incredibly competent but also so much fun to be around—I definitely hope to dive with her in the future! When I completed my Open Water Course, I couldn’t resist adding an extra day of fun dives. Even though I made the request at the last minute, the team arranged everything for me seamlessly. I dove with Alice, who was also an excellent instructor—professional, knowledgeable, and a joy to dive with. If you’re considering learning how to dive or want an incredible diving adventure, I wholeheartedly recommend Phoenix Divers in Koh Lanta. Not only will you gain invaluable skills, but you’ll also create memories that will last a lifetime. Just be warned—once you start diving, you may never want to stop!

Incredible Experience - Open Water Certification - Incredible experience, they were so nice to us helped with pick up and drop off, made the dive experience really fun and engaging and our instructor Mark ensured that we were well prepared for the open water certification. I would 100% recommend anymore to consider doing their OWC here. The sites are incredibly beautiful and the instructors and staff are just incredible. Thank you for making this such a wonderful experience. Would gladly go back

Recommended diving - Diving recommended! We did three days of diving with the request of different sites and they satisfied us. The guides are all young and very nice. Ours, is called Daniel (very good and helpful)

Amazing staff, awesome diving!!! - Phoenix Dive Center - Koh Lanta Reservation: ***** Easy breezy. Found them thru google search. Contacted via whatsapp. Provided details to book 3 day dive package. Coordination:***** Always sending a reminder the day before. Group size: ***** There were probably at most 10 divers on board. They have one dive guide/dive master/ instructor for every 2-3 people which is really nice. Makes it more chill dive. Day 1: Koh Bida with Rosie Chill dive with one needing some refresher Day 1 diving is ok. Since we were not used to going to dive sites with a ton of simultaneous boats and divers, one boat had almost 30 people jumping in the water with half divers and half snorkelers. I'm glad i wasn't on that boat. Rosie was awesome with our friend who hasn't gone diving for more than 25 years. We saw groupers, sweetlips, clownfishes, barracuda… Day 2: Koh Haa (Five island) with Yannis Man what can i say. On this dive, we saw a juvenile whaleshark. 1st when we were around 18-20m. Then again at around 10-13 m. It came by just above us, which was awesome. However, we did hit some pretty strong current after, we tried to find a calm spot but to no avail. Still overall ot was awesome!!! Day 3: Back at Koh Bida with Oi/Ooy This time there were fewer divers so we enjoyed all 3 dives. We had a macro smorgasbord. Plus we were on the hunt to see a leopard shark, which we did see as we were preparing for our safety stop. Then just prior to that we saw a huge school of fish with a surprise. We saw a group of cuttlefish. 1 was hunting while the other 3 was mating. We saw some green sea turtles doing back scratches to clean their shell. Sea snakes. Eels. Fang blenny. Whip coral shrimp. Glass shrim on bubble coral.

Epic couple of days diving with Phoenix! 🤿🐠 - Had a great two days of scuba diving with Phoenix dive! We explored Ko Haa and Koh Bida, saw reef sharks, seahorses, crazy beautiful reefs. Thanks so much to Eak, our amazing guide who was very accommodating, funny and led us on a great few dives! All the boat crew were amazing too, handing out breakfast, putting on our fins for us! Highly recommend Pheonix Dive, they were exceptional!! 🐠🤿🌞

Dive with Phoenix! - Aonna was the first one I got in touch with and she was fast in reply, helpful and gave us some time to think. We had to reschedule our planned dive and it was no problem at all. We loved diving with Phoenix Divers. I wanted to take my open water course. I’ve been diving in the past, but started panicking and losing trust. Mark Vierra was my instructor and did an amazing job. He was patient, funny and very helpful. Got my confidence back and decided to take the advanced open water course as well. In the end we made 11 dives with Mark and it was worth it! The crew is amazing, they work hard. Pick ups are on time, lunch is great, boat and gear is ready. Would go again when I’m back on Koh Lanta (and you should to😉)

One of the best days in Thailand - Aonna was my first contact with Phoenix. Super friendly she answered very fast all my questions. A pleasure to meet her. It's convenient that they were opened on a sunday. I went there that same day to finalize all details and try all the equipment for the diving next day. My instructor was Harish and I couldn't be happier. Definitely made the whole experience more enjoyable. Super cool guy, knowledgeable made the whole process very comfortable considering I haven't dove in 2 years he was super patient explaining and clarifying any doubts. Overall I can highly recommend Phoenix, their staff and they sure deserve a 5 star rating. If asked about any negative side I'd say the price. But seemed to me it's still competitive with other schools in lanta. And a good thing is that the 3rd dive is substantially cheaper than the first 2. Long story short ( might be a bit to late for that already) Phoenix is definitely a solid option if you consider diving in lanta (and you should) 🙏☺️
